Already adding non-DC Universe characters like Mike Mignola (Abe Sapien, Lobster Johnson)’s Hellboy and Mortal Kombat's Raiden to the roster of fighters, adding of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be quite a blast for the fans. Now, check out the reveal trailer for Fighter Pack 3 for Injustice 2 first as we are about to discuss what's coming for us.

We agree that adding Hellboy to the Injustice 2 playable character list was a bit oddly surprising but fans have loved the idea so far. However, introducing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; heroes in a half shell were something no one really saw coming and you can tell how surprised the entire fanboy nation was by the #TMNT trend on Twitter yesterday! Everyone just literally lost their mind over the reveal of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo.

This one surprise was actually kept under wraps for a long time and not only the reveal of it was surprising to the fans but the folks behind the games were astonished to see that they really made it. Even game's director Ed Boon expressed his awe in a Tweet.

The game Injustice 2 is a surprise itself by being an even improved version of its prequel Injustice: Gods Among Us. Plus, the huge array of popular character added to the fighter roster is a great achievement too. Rumor has it that, the game might even add some characters from the Watchmen franchise of DC Comics as well.

There is also some criticizing about NetherRealm Studios' constant adding of unnecessary or gimmick characters though but looks like the majority of the audience took their introduction with absolute optimism. How these characters will matter to the game is yet to be disclosed. We still don't know if each of the Ninja Turtles heroes will be solo heroes or are they part of a single tag-team.

Atom and Enchantress will have their own place with the former's shrinking abilities and the latter's malevolent magic. Rather than rocking her Suicide Squad movie look, Enchantress is designed mostly to look alike her comic-book counterpart. Atom's character will be available on December 12th's early access. Then Enchantress and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will join the fight in January and February respectively.
