Warhammer: Vermintide 2: Back to Ubersreik DLC Out Now

The heroes of Warhammer: Vermintide 2 are returning in second DLC, Back to Ubersreik, already available now.

Fans of the critically acclaimed first-person action title Warhammer: Vermintide 2 can now cheer up because developer/publisher Fatshark has released the second DLC for the title called "Back to Ubersreik", available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Last month, the company announced that Vermintide 2 is coming to PS4 on 18 December and now there is a new DLC to accompany the Sony console launch. Heroes of the Ubersreik heads back to the city in search for a terrible truth.

Check out the official teaser for the DLC below, which is kind of a hollow effort to engage players though.

The 4 Player cooperative experience is back at it once again as players are going to explore three levels from the original game. Those will be Horn of Magnus, Gardens of Morr and Engines of War, all reworked to suit the caliber of the worthy sequel.

The five Heroes of Ubersreik has visited the place before but now that the Ubersreik Lodestone has been discovered, they must come back. The city is now in ruins and so, Olesya casts an illusion to help them find what they need within the wreckage.

Aside from the remastered levels, the DLC adds five new weapons with illusions to assist the heroes to complete their quests and new challenges presented to them. Going back to the old maps may even touch them with a little nostalgia.

However, many players are disappointed that Fatshark has chose to include only three maps for the release and believe that it is hard to digest that they are charging for port of the past content. Even if not making Warhammer: Vermintide 2 free-to-play, they could at least offer some discount.
