Catherine Classic on PC Out Now

Sega introduces the PC port for action-adventure puzzle title of 2011 as Catherine Classic, available now on Steam.

It was only a week ago when publisher Sega decided to tease players of the upcoming release of Catherine on PC platform through the News tab of the Steam page for Bayonetta, which was then confirmed shortly after by an ESRB Rating.

Today, the critically and commercially successful 2011 puzzle platformer from Japanese developer Atlus has made its way to the digital storefront of Steam and Humble Store, debuting on Windows PC as Catherine Classic, a port to the original console release.

Sega was also generous enough to drop an official announcement trailer for series fans from the past and the normies to sink their teeth in.

The recently launched port has received a several upgrades over the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console versions. Players can unlock the frame rate while enjoying the nightmare quests in 4K resolution with now customizable controls for a better experience.

Also, the game offers you to choose between English and Japanese-language voiceover, something that was not a part of Western release in the past. Catherine Classic is priced $19.99 only and comes with all three original game modes.

Although you get to play the story campaign and enjoy the two existing multiplayer modes, Atlus decided not to include an online multiplayer feature, which they plan on to include on the remastered version of the game, Catherine: Full Body with a third character named Rin.

Full Body will come out later at some point on 2019 and the Western version of the game will only be launched on PlayStation 4. Catherine takes you to a twisted journey of love, betrayal and the terror of a romantic thriller of protagonist Vincent between three women in his life.
