Released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last month, RE2 Remake has received a few notable mod for playing as original Resident Evil character Chris Redfield, switching back to first-person perspective or a fixed camera angle like 1998 classic so far.

The moment you hear the sound of his stomping boots throughout the corridor or the hallway of R.P.D., you know that you are going to be in a whole world of trouble if you do not move immediately to hide from his sight before he locks on you.

Unlike the early rendition of the boss, 2019 remake version of Mr. X is a relentless stalker and virtually unstoppable. Even if you manage to momentarily take him down with a Flash Grenade or a couple of head-shots, he will get back to his boots right in.

Of course this doesn't assist you in killing zombies or give you some gameplay perks but the fear of encountering the character in any situation will come as less stressful than it used to be and makes him slightly less scary without nerfing his punches.

Adding DMX's "X Gon' Give It To Ya" as Mr. X theme song was originally inspired from a recently popular meme of Resident Evil 2 Remake where players were adding the track to videos of the boss character and fan communities have finally modded it into the game.
