Metro Exodus DLC Expansion Pass Roadmap

Details on Expansion Pass content for Metro Exodus is revealed by 4A Games and its first DLC is coming this summer.

Despite having to delay its original release date and then facing some issue with moving to Epic Games Store by ditching Steam, developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver still saw success with first-person shooter title Metro Exodus.

Following its release on February, a Game Plus mode was added via "Ranger Update" for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One a month later. Now, detailed plans regarding upcoming DLC release roadmap for the world of Metro is revealed.

Owners of Aurora and Gold Edition are already covered on Expansion Pass on their respective available platform. However, you can also place your digital pre-order now on Epic Store for $9.99 only and for just $24.99 on consoles.

Developers are currently working on two major story-driven expansion packs and players would be assuming roles of two new characters other than main protagonist Artyom that belong to Spartan Rangers and one of them is an American named Sam.

Kick-starting from summer 2019, first DLC titled "The Two Colonels" that chronicles the journey of Colonel Khlebnikov who comes out of Novosibirsk to meet his son but survival on surface has not been easier lately and tough decisions should be made.

Then next chapter, "Sam's Story" is scheduled arrive on early 2020 that is centered on a US marine, Sam who wants to go back to his country to reunite with his family upon learning that many other city has survived the war like Moscow.

First expansion will hand you over a brand-new weapon in form of a deadly flame-thrower to successfully fend off mutated creatures on your way and gameplay will likely be the same you had in post-apocalyptic wasteland of Russia already.

With launch of Metro Exodus earlier this year, developer 4A Games and publisher Deep Silver has completed a trilogy inspired by Dmitry Glukhovsky's novels and seems like this Expansion Pass roadmap is looking to extend that established legacy.
