Wargroove Coming to PS4
Chucklefish brings their newest turn-based tactics game Wargroove to PS4 next week on July 23, 2019.
Already making its way to Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One on February 2019, turn-based tactics title Wargroove from developer/publisher Chucklefish is soon heading over to PlayStation 4 platform on July 23, 2019.
You can create party of up to four players and be set for a strategy game experience where war ensues with enemy factions in a turn-based tactics. Select from a more than a dozen of Commanders and rally up units to storm rival grounds.

Commanders are a key-aspect of gameplay and each has their special ultimate move called "Groove" that can be charged when they are at 100%. It has the potential to turn tides of battlefield often times when you needed most.
Going through single player story campaign as Queen Mercia of Cherrystone Kingdom, you will learn more about what drives them into fight and having that knowledge will help you choose a better Commander that would better suit your playstyle.

Although other version of the game from different platform share cross-platform play feature among them, upcoming PS4 release will not be having the same element, or not at least during launch and that is most probably because of Sony.
Despite cross-play being unavailable, local and online multiplayer are still up for both co-op adventure between friends or going fully competitive. Players on PS4 will still be able to download community map designs and upload their own.

Players are given access to some editor tools hat developers used to create in-game maps so that they can go creative and design their own cut-scenes, maps or even story campaigns to share online with Wargroove community.
With that much customization options at their disposal, people can go to endless length to create their version of story-driven missions, design complex quests, come up with new plot-twists or even bend some in-game rules for fun.

When you are done with everything else, try your luck out in Puzzle modes to challenge your strategic skills. There are a handful of hidden features, secrets and unlockables to keep you busy playing the game for long time.
PS4 version of Wargroove will have same contents that are also present in on PC, Switch and Xbox, except for cross-play. However, you can still enjoy arcade for quick play or indulge yourself in approximately 20 hours of story mode.
