Diablo 4 Leaked by Art Book

An ad for new "The Art of Diablo" book from Blizzard has leaked Diablo IV weeks ahead of BlizzCon 2019.

A major franchise from developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment, action role-playing hack and slash dungeon crawler series Diablo has seen its final game Diablo III six years ago and its second expansion came out in 2017.

Last year, many fans initially believed that Blizzard would reveal a much-anticipated sequel in their BlizzCon 2018 event and a mobile title was announced but a recent leak suggests that Diablo IV will be unveiled at BlizzCon 2019.

In latest issue of German magazine GameStar, there is a single mention of Diablo 4 in an ad for upcoming book "The Art of Diablo", which will come out in November 3, a date set after BlizzCon for Blizzard to announce the game.

First line of that advertisement reads, "Mit über 500 artworks aus Diablo, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, und Diablo 4", which roughly translates to "With over 500 artworks from Diablo, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and Diablo 4" and there you go.

The Art of Diablo is already available on Amazon for pre-order and aside from that print ad; there are no mention of Diablo IV anywhere. At this point, many leaks have suggested its existence but this one is the most legit among all.

Though some fans may believe that the ad probably mistook Diablo Immortal for a mainline Diablo sequel, that seems too far-fetched and it was reported earlier that a working build for the game already exists in their French offices.

Blizzard is already in hot waters lately after banning a Hearthstone player for protesting against Chinese government, which led to huge surge of fan backlash and boycott campaign that has been supported by United States politicians.

Although Blizzard neither confirmed nor denied any leaks, they stated to have exciting news to share at BlizzCon 2019. If they want to win over fans after last year's Diablo Immortal, developers will need something big like Diablo IV.
