Vesemir is an experienced and older Witcher from 13th century, who appeared on franchise novels and games. Also, this conversation gone viral recently is from about a year ago, even before Cavill expressed his interest in playing Geralt.

Hissrich was posting a series of Tweets, breaking down each major characters of her Netflix show and there she conveyed Vesemir as "Fatherly, Wise, Sprightly an Ancient", attributes that can be well portrayed by Hamill himself.

Hamill is renowned for his work on both Star Wars original and sequel trilogy as Luke Skywalker as well as multiple Batman animated films as The Joker. Hopefully, he has caught on more with lore of The Witcher series by now after a year.

Season 1 features a young version of Vesemir on a single episode that is played by British actor Theo James (Underworld: Awakening, Underworld: Blood Wars), which leaves chances for the character to appear on next season.
