Assassin's Creed 2 Free on Uplay Now

PC version of action-adventure title Assassin's Creed II is currently free to claim on Uplay until April 17, 2020.

Ever since people worldwide are forced into self-quarantine amidst Coronavirus outbreak, many video game companies are offering players free games lately to prevent spreading of COVID-19 and spend more time indoors.

In a recent freebie offering, developer/publisher Ubisoft is giving away a free copy of 2009 action-adventure game Assassin's Creed II for PC platform, which you can claim now on Uplay from April 14, 6:00 AM PT to April 17, 6:00 AM PT.

Set in 21st century, AC II focuses on protagonist Desmond Miles, who taps into memories of his distant ancestor and legendary assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze in an attempt to thwart an ancient conspiracy of Templars organization.

Playing as Ezio, you will meet prominent historical figures like Leonardo da Vinci and Caterina Sforza in-game. Ubisoft has improved over shortcomings of series debut title by emphasizing on its story premise and less repetitive gameplay.

Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad has Tweeted news of this giveaway a few days ago before official announcement.
