Ghostrunner for Nintendo Switch Delayed

All in! Games have delayed release of first-person platformer Ghostrunner for Nintendo Switch to next month.

Although originally confirmed to release for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, first-person action title Ghostrunner from developer One More Level has made its debut across all major platforms today, except for one.

Having an alternate and unique take on platformer genre, Ghostrunner is a much-anticipated title that has skipped release for Switch console on set date and has been delayed to November but no specific date has been confirmed yet.

Ghostrunner for Nintendo Switch Delayed

In a recent statement, publisher All in! Games announced to hold back releasing Ghostrunner on Switch until November as they want to ensure "the best possible experience" for players and a launch date will be revealed very soon.

When it comes to working on a Nintendo Switch handheld version, developer comes across a lot of primary differences to deal with compared to other platforms and therefore, they often has to delay while delivering a better port.

It really sucks when a long-awaited game gets postponed and Switch owners are most probably bummed out by an unexpected delay of Ghostrunner but extra attention and real good care is required for a quality port on Switch platform.

Regardless of being an overtly popular console system in gaming communities, Nintendo Switch has its limitations regarding hardware. One More Level will hopefully use these additional days to improve overall experience of Ghostrunner.
