Defense Grid: The Awakening Free on Epic Games Store Now

As we are getting close to wrap up this year soon, Epic Games has just launched annual Holiday Sale on digital distribution storefront Epic Games Store and announces to giveaway free games on PC platform until the end of 2020.

On fourth straight day of year-end offering, Epic Store adds 2008 tower defense game Defense Grid: The Awakening to freebie list that you can claim and own forever within 24 hours before December 21, 9:00 AM PT/12:00 PM EDT.

Away from typical archetypes of gameplay in tower defense genre, developer/publisher Hidden Path Entertainment invites everyone to a deep and engaging experience that offers a variety of challenges and lots of unique objectives.

Defense Grid tasks you to fortify a bunch of power cores from being stolen by a menacing alien threat. They will make a shortcut to breach through defense and try to make an escape stealing one of those cores if you can't stop them.
