A definitive edition of critically-acclaimed indie role-playing game Disco Elysium was announced by developer/publisher ZA/UM last year for Google Stadia, PlayStation 4 and 5 platforms during The Game Awards 2020 digital showcase event.

Recently, a listing on Pan European Game Information (PEGI) official website shows that Disco Elysium: The Final Cut has now been rated for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, hinting at official release date coming very soon.

Console versions for Switch and Xbox platforms were originally planned for a launch in summer 2021 and therefore, awaiting a solid date. PEGI rating says nothing more than a release window set for 2021 right now until further confirmation.

PEGI age rating board has given an 18 rating for Disco Elysium: The Final Cut similar to PS4, PS5 and Stadia versions. Consumers are also warned of realistic-looking violence, strong language and even usage of illegal drugs at some occasions.

Disco Elysium arrived earlier this year on select platforms but there was a glitch on PS4 and PS5 versions at launch. Nintendo and Xbox players have been waiting to get their hands on the title for long, possibly hoping to get those issues fixed.

There is a chance that Microsoft reveals adding Disco Elysium: The Final Cut to their upcoming new lineup for Xbox Game Pass next month. Fans can only wait for them to announce it over at social media sites in first week of September 2021.
