Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Valhalla Crossover Announced

Earlier in August, known Assassin's Creed leaker j0nathan claimed to have found few game files in Assassin's Creed Valhalla that seemingly hinted at a possible crossover with Kassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey in a future DLC.

After recently announcing upcoming expansion Dawn of Ragnarök, developer/publisher Ubisoft reveals free Crossover Stories DLCs, which will become available for owners of AC Odyssey and Valhalla starting from December 14, 2021.

Ubisoft also released a developer diary video to further showcase Assassin's Creed: Crossover Stories DLCs.

As part of Ubisoft's Year 2 post-launch support, Crossover Stories will be arriving alongside 1.4.1 update very soon. Eivor and Kassandra will appear in story for Valhalla, whereas Odyssey story will allow you play as Alexios or Kassandra.

Kassandra's journey continues in Odyssey through "Those Who Are Treasured" story and in "A Fated Encounter" for Valhalla. Players need to reach Settlement Level 4 and must complete "A Wise Friend" quest to unlock Valhalla story.

Assassin's Creed players will be exploring a connection between these two heroes in a uniquely new storyline. Haunted by terrible nightmares, Eivor comes across Kassandra when visiting Isle of Skye and they quickly engage into a fight.

Kassandra is now an immortal and after already living for centuries, she embarks on a quest to recover a dangerous Isu artifact. When she finally encounters legendary Viking warrior Eivor at one point, a major conflict ensued at once.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey story DLC requires you to finish Chapter 1 and reach Megaris for you to get access. However, it will be wise for players to play though at least first three main game story arcs to avoid getting any key-spoilers.

Latest title update for Assassin's Creed Valhalla will let players customize difficulty settings and reduce file size once reinstalled. Meanwhile, AC Odyssey will be free-to-play next weekend for limited time, from December 16-19, 2021.
