God of War: Ragnarök May Be Coming Soon

Only days ago, a release date for upcoming PlayStation-exclusive action-adventure game God of War: Ragnarök by developer Santa Monica Studio and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment was allegedly leaked on PlayStation database.

Although latest leak has revealed a September 2022 launch window, Sony or Santa Monica has yet to make an official announcement. Recently, a rating for Ragnarök goes live in Saudi Arabia, suggesting that GoW sequel may arrive earlier.

God of War: Ragnarök age classification has been posted by General Authority for Audio-Visual Media in Saudi Arabia with an 18+ rating lately and despite having no release date revealed yet, Ragnarök could release sooner than expected.

Age classifications are usually given when they are very close to launch and new rating for Saudi Arabia possibly hints that GoW: Ragnarök may release across PlayStation consoles much sooner than previously speculated, may be in months.

Saudi Arabia age classification account on Twitter has revealed an 18+ rating for God of War: Ragnarök lately.

Sony has been vague about when Ragnarök will hit stores since they only teased "Coming 2022" at PlayStation Showcase 2021 event. Originally, it was scheduled for a 2021 release window but Santa Monica has delayed launch to next year.

God of War: Ragnarök may actually skip Q1 2022 for other first-party releases like Gran Turismo 7, Horizon Forbidden West and Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection while moving to newly leaked release window of September, 30 2022.
