Take-Two May Have Hinted at Grand Theft Auto VI Release Window

With many industry insider and leaked sources keep teasing upcoming highly-anticipated title Grand Theft Auto VI for years, developer/publisher Rockstar Games has yet to make an official announcement for Grand Theft Auto V sequel.

Earlier this week, Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive announced to acquire mobile game developer Zynga for 12.7 billion and may have even hinted at a possible release window for Grand Theft Auto 6 in latest financial report.

During recent announcement, Take-Two financials suggests that company annual growth rate will be 14% through 2024 and industry analyst believes that a major release has already been scheduled for fiscal year ending on March 2024.

Only a few games out there can give confidence to company for such strong financial guidance equivalent to $9 billion growth in consumer spending, hinting at GTA 6 release in FY24, which stretches from April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024.

Take-Two has hinted at past releases of Rockstar Games with statement of increased revenue expectations for specific period of time, teasing a 2012 or early 2013 launch window for GTA V via financial targets, which shipped in late 2013.

Grand Theft Auto VI release window could be set for 2024 or 2025 due to Rockstar focusing on employee welfare after allegation of crunch culture, according to early reports corroborated by well-known Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier.
