Horizon Forbidden West Out Now

An anticipated sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, 2022 action role-playing game Horizon Forbidden West from developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment is out now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.

In a post-apocalyptic United States, young Nora tribe hunter Aloy embarks a journey to arcane frontier, also known as Forbidden West with a group of friends to investigate a strange, deadly plague, which is killing everything on its way.

Throughout her expedition, she would come across various tribes of people and run into much bigger machines. Aloy must uncover why violent storms and an unstoppable blight is killing off humanity and every other lifeforms on Earth.

Newly introduced weapon system allows you to upgrade weapons in a workbench and outfits will unlock specific skills. Aloy can climb or grapple through terrain, use Shieldwing to traverse or ride machines over an open-world frontier.

Old friends have returned and alliances are formed with new factions to face-off a new enemy. Aloy and her crew would encounter Regalla and her rebel Tenakth warriors, who can tame and ride those machines to war against enemies.

Aside from engaging Tenakth rebels, Aloy would occasionally take out Clawstriders, Snapmaws, Sunwings, Tideripper and other machines. She will have to go all-out to fight serpentine enemy Slitherfangs and mammoth-like Tremortusks.

Several recurring characters like GAIA of Zero Dawn and former Eclipse founder Sylens makes a much-anticipated comeback. Also making a debut is a mysterious woman named Tilda, played by Carrie-Anne Moss (Memento, The Matrix).

Horizon Forbidden West players on PS4 will be able to claim a next-gen upgrade on PS5 for no extra cost. Guerrilla Games added more melee combos, loot stash and a bunch of accessibility options to let everyone enjoy the experience.
