Dead Space Remake Release Window Revealed

According to an industry report, developer Motive Studios and publisher Electronic Arts were planning to release a highly-anticipated remake of 2008 sci-fi horror game Dead Space for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in late 2022.

Earlier this week, GamesBeat reporter Jeff Grubb claimed Dead Space Remake release will be moved to next year. During a pre-scheduled developer livestream today, EA finally announces to release Dead Space sometime in early 2023.

EA Motive hosted a developer livestream today, detailing reimagines sound designs for Dead Space Remake.

Dead Space Remake developer livestream was largely focused on dev team is improving upon original 2008 classic and senior producer Philippe Ducharme heavily put emphasis on meeting fan-expectations when they launch it next year.

Ducharme assures that they have a date in mind and dev team wants to make everything right before release. Dead Space Remake is still in pre-alpha phase and Motive Studios will actually do their first full walkthrough in just few weeks.

Latest livestream also highlighted on Dead Space's audio, noting how protagonist Isaac Clarke used to sound in various situations, while reimagining and recreating the atmospheric vibe of terror in his breathing, dialogues and heart rate.

EA Motive Studios has officially revealed Dead Space Remake last year for PC and consoles but never confirmed a release date. Jeff Grubb explained earlier that an internal delay is not a sign of trouble, rather they are focused on its quality.
