Explore a haunted city and uncover truth, 2022 action-adventure game GhostWire: Tokyo by developer Tango Gameworks and publisher Bethesda Softworks is out now, a timed exclusive for PC via Steam and PlayStation 5 consoles.
When deadly supernatural forces invaded Tokyo, entirety of its population has vanished in a mysterious fog overnight. Now streets are filled with vengeful spirits known as Visitors and a group of individuals, wearing Hannya masks.

You play as lead character Akito, aided by a powerful spectral entity and wielding a variety of abilities to fight back evil. Armed with an arsenal of mystic abilities, you are ready to take out an entire city of ghostly apparitions in battle.
After miraculously surviving a mass disappearance, Akito joins team with a ghostly detective named KK seek justice. Together they go after a masked perpetrator, whose ulterior motives remain quite ominous, yet somewhat vague.

You will face off various ethereal beings across iconic Tokyo landscapes like Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower. Whereas, creatures like Corruption and Forsaken comes after you, friendly feline Nekomata sells you many useful items.
Players can wield a host of upgradeable powers as they fight more spirits and develop brand-new abilities through their skill tree. Use your ethereal gliding ability to reach above skylines, find new missions and ambush your enemies.

Tango Gameworks has also made available a Prelude visual novel for everyone to experience prior events to the game for free. You will be joining KK and a group of paranormal detectives looking for causes of people's disappearance.
