Godfall: Ultimate Edition Announced

Although there was an extensive hype regarding 2020 action role-playing game Godfall from developer Counterplay Games and publisher Gearbox Publishing before its release on PC and PlayStation 5 but sorely failed to live up to it.

Failing to make any notable impact, a PlayStation 4 version was announced back in 2021 and today, Counterplay confirms a launch date for Godfall: Ultimate Edition for Steam, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, coming on April 7, 2022.

Ultimate Edition will also be arriving on PC via Epic Games Store and PlayStation Store, much likely to replace existing versions. Godfall on PS Store currently has Ascended, Challenger and Digital Deluxe Edition for PS4 and 5 consoles.

Xbox community can experience Counterplay's latest epic action RPG on Xbox console family with Ultimate Edition next month. You play as one of the god-like warriors known as Valorian knights and must stop Macros by any means.

Player characters can equip legendary armor sets called Valorplates that offer you an edge in melee combat. You can also wield elemental powers and should challenge Macros in a battle, as he slowly ascends to power and Godhood.

Valorplate armor allows you to summon backup, redirect damage or enhances any elemental attacks. Ultimate Edition will also include pre-order bonuses and all cosmetics are unlockable through a variety of challenge and objectives.

You can play alone or join up to two players in co-op adventure across realms of Aperion and face off various threats. A number of updates have included new cut-scenes, story elements, dialogue, further NPC interactions and more.

Godfall: Ultimate Edition comes bundled with full base game, post-launch updates as well as Fire & Darkness DLC expansion in a single package for a $39.99 retail price and a special Xbox launch price is $29.99 only for a limited time.
