Selling over 8 million copies worldwide since release, 2021 action role-playing game Monster Hunter Rise by developer/publisher Capcom has made its PC debut earlier this year and a DLC expansion, Sunbreak is set to release in mid-2022.

Originally launched for Nintendo Switch consoles, MH Rise becomes second best-selling game in Monster Hunter franchise and recently, Capcom is offering a Monster Hunter Rise free trial, available for all Nintendo Switch Online members.

Switch Online subscribers in Europe and North America will be able to access Monster Hunter Rise limited time free trial until March 17, 2022. If you decide to purchase MH Rise, all of your overall progress will be transferred to main game.

Capcom has seemingly put no limit cap on how far you can progress in-game playing ongoing free trial. Players on Switch who have been meaning to pick it up but still hesitated, can jump on the fence with MH Rise trial to see if you like it.

Monster Hunter Rise previously added several free DLC costumes and even two monsters via Version 3.0 update. MH Rise: Sunbreak will be a massive expansion similar to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, introducing a brand-new chapter.

Capcom has also announced a developer livestream scheduled for next week, offering better look at Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak DLC, which is likely to include new monsters, areas for hunting, quest rank challenges and so much more.
