Marvel's Spider-Man PC Mod Turns Spidey Into Daredevil

It took four years for PlayStation 4-exclusive 2018 action-adventure game Marvel's Spider-Man by developer Insomniac Games to finally release on PC and fans are really very excited to enjoy one of the best superhero games ever made.

With its recent launch earlier this month, Spider-Man: Remastered on PC receives a number of fan-made mods just days after it came out, adding many known characters in-game and one of them adds Daredevil, The Man Without Fear.

PC modder TheRealiceMage has recently uploaded a brand-new mod that replaces your Spider-Man character model into Daredevil, The Man Without Fear, allowing you to effectively explore an open-world New York City and fight crime.

In comics, Daredevil and Spider-Man both share a few commonalities regarding their extended rogues' gallery. DD doesn't have any superhuman strength but he as acrobatic as Spidey and is honed in martial arts, trained by master Stick.

Daredevil first teamed-up with fellow vigilante superhero Spider-Man and crossed paths many times in following years. Instead of a web-shooter, DD wields a multi-purpose cane that can be used as nunchak or a grappling hooked cable.

Nevertheless, Daredevil alternate character skin still uses full arsenal of Spidey gadgets and his combat style in gameplay. TheRealiceMage has outlined install instruction and cautions about model turning into polygons when in distance.

There was a rumor regarding a possible Daredevil game to be in development, which was later fueled by a Skydance Media announcement. An official game adaptation is not confirmed yet but you can at least try out the mod for now.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered becomes second biggest launch for any PlayStation PC over Steam, only behind God of War (2018). It also becomes fastest selling PC game by PlayStation Studio in U.K. sales history just ahead of GoW.
