Only a month away from release, upcoming first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II by developer Infinity Ward and publisher Activision unveils multiplayer features, new chapter of Warzone battle royale and mobile experience.
Ahead of Open Beta test, Infinity Ward already revealed a new and improved Gunsmith system for players. Just a day a before joining Beta program, Call of Duty: Next showcase event reveals Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and much more.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II releases a new multiplayer gameplay trailer, offering a first-look at Warzone 2.0.
Modern Warfare II multiplayer brings back fan-favorite game modes like Domination and Team Deathmatch. Moreover, players can also jump in for newly added Invasion, Knockout, Prisoner Rescue and a new, separate third-person playlist.
Infinity Ward introduces game-changing movement mechanics like swimming underwater and aquatic combat for MWII. Thanks to new water physics, you can now come up with new tactics to hide from enemies in maps with a water body.

Originally released as a tie-in to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), free-to-play battle royale shooter Call of Duty: Warzone gets a sequel. Warzone 2.0 will collaborate and launch alongside Modern Warfare II with cross-platform features.
To engage player in large-scale firefights, Warzone 2 will take you to its newest map Al Mazrah, available on November 16, 2022. You will discover a new Gulag, Buy Station, special extraction mode DMZ for all-new sandbox-style experience.

Activision also revealed Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile, all-new battle royale experience for 120 players that includes cross-progression with Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, already open for pre-register on Android via Google Play Store.
Players who join Open Beta can use FJX Cinder Weapon Vault for free and those who pre-order Vault Edition can unlock it in-game at launch. Advanced vehicle interactivity allows you to drop, climb or stand onto a range of available vehicles.

PlayStation players can get Beta Early Access with a pre-order or join Open Beta on September 18-20, 2022. Week 2 begins with Early Access for PC and Xbox owners on September 22 before Beta becomes open and free across all platforms.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II digital pre-order gets you Early Access to Beta and campaign a week ahead of release. PlayStation-exclusive Oni Operator Pack will be available for players on MW sequel and Warzone 2 as a pre-order bonus.
