Bringing more variety to weekly freebie catalog, Epic Games offered a total of 89 titles for PC platform on their digital distribution outlet Epic Games Store last year alone and players have claimed over 765 million copies, worth $2,120.

Epic Store is giving away PC version of 2017 survival horror game Darkwood and indie rogue-like adventure title ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove for this week to claim and own forever until October 20, 8:00 AM PDT/11:00 AM EDT.

Taking a new direction in survival horror genre, Darkwood by Acid Wizard Studio plays out in top-down perspective across a semi-open world, where player character unlocks new areas, interact with NPCs and make progress in story.

You can scavenge for supplies during daylight, build barricades around hideout or craft a few items to use later on. Plan out a strategy to well defend your hiding place at night against all incoming intruders at night, until dawn arrives.

A fourth entry in ToeJam & Earl series, developer/publisher HumaNature Studios kept things similar to 1991 original for Back in the Groove, which includes exploring and searching along with new "Jam Out" rhythm-based mini-game.

Epic Games Store has announced to offer Evoland: Legendary Edition and Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition for limited time next week that anyone can get a free copy of when it finally becomes available on EGS, starting October 20.
