Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC Expansion Announced

In less than a month after release, a DLC expansion for 2022 action role-playing game Horizon Forbidden West from developer Guerrilla Games and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment was accidentally leaked via a rating by VSC.

A reputable leaker already teased a number of details regarding upcoming expansion ahead of The Game Awards 2022 stream and Guerrilla Games eventually announces Burning Shores DLC arriving for PlayStation 5 on April 19, 2023.

A newly revealed trailer offers a first-look at upcoming Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC expansion.

Burning Shores storyline picks up from where Forbidden West campaign ended and it heads to a dangerous new region. Aloy will head over to south of Tenakth tribe lands and meet a cast of new characters during her latest adventure.

Forbidden West DLC expansion takes players to ruins of Los Angeles, where lurks a mechanical threat in shadows for any visitors. Aloy must take on such challenge with her skills and abilities once she finally faces the dreaded machine.

Latest trailer shows Aloy flying over places in California riding on a Sunwing and then passes by Hollywood sign. Moments later, a massive beast with multiple tentacles emerges from under it and makes its presence known to intruders.

Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC expansion coming exclusively to PS5 due to last-gen consoles having performance issues. So, Guerrilla dev team decided to move forward with newest chapter of Horizon universe on PS5.
