Hitman 3 Will Become Hitman: World of Assassination, Will Include Hitman 1 and 2
IO Interactive plans to rebrand Hitman III into World of Assassination, which includes access to both Hitman 1 and 2.

During its launch, 2021 stealth game Hitman III from developer/publisher IO Interactive faced a number of issues regarding Hitman 2 level transfer on PC platform because of Epic Games Store timed exclusivity deal and led to a controversy.
Following its Steam debut last year, Hitman 3 was review-bombed by users due to pricing issues within hours after launch. IO Interactive recently announced to rebrand H3 to Hitman: World of Assassination, including Hitman 1 and 2 as well.
IOI team started a journey to create an ever-expanding game with World of Assassination back in 2015, which evolves under a single hub. It serves as a foundation to future Hitman games for players to access and enjoy everything at once.
Starting from January 26, 2023, Hitman 3 will become Hitman: World of Assassination, allowing access to Hitman 1 and 2 via existing Access Pass system while current owners of Hitman 3 gets free upgrade to Hitman: WoA for all platforms.
Later this month, World of Assassination will become only available option for playing and thus, simplifying purchase for new players. All current and new owners of Hitman 3 will get access to same in-game contents without any confusion.
Players won't have to worry about how to import locations, redeem Legacy packs or whichever edition to buy anymore. To make purchase simple, World of Assassination replaces Hitman 1, 2 and 3 as they will no longer be on digital stores.

World of Assassination will streamline all offerings to two products; Standard Edition or Deluxe Pack. Priced at $70 or equivalent, WoA base content includes Hitman 3, Hitman 1: GOTY Access Pass as well as Hitman 2: Standard Access Pass.
Deluxe Pack costs you an equivalent of $30, which comes along with H3 Deluxe Pack, H3: Seven Deadly Sins Collection and H2: Expansion Access Pass in a single bundle for any Hitman 3 owner who missed out on additional add-on contents.

PC players on Steam can separately purchase three DLC packs included in WoA: Deluxe Pack, so they can complete the entire set for $10 only. Players on other platforms can get these DLCs by paying similar price or less from in-game store.
Hitman 1 and 2 standalone products will be delisted from sale for all platforms but players who own a copy can still access their game. IOI has made these changes with Freelancer game mode in mind, allowing easy access to every location.
