After cramming down the remaster of both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light into Metro Redux, the Ukrainian development team has gone into the development phase for the next game and third installment of the series.

Even before the story was adapted into video games, Metro series was a super-hit original novel from author Dmitry Glukhovsky and that popularity has led to the eventual conception of a post-apocalyptic survival horror experience for fans.

After making a spectacular entry in E3 2017, we hoped to get on board with the game this year and journey through its barren landscape to fight scary mutants this year but fate seems to be not with us on this one.

According to their recent statement, the development process is still progressing and they are pretty happy with the finished result. Just because they want us to experience their finest effort when we get to play it, they are taking time to make sure that happens.
