Marvel’s Spider-Man Gameplay Launch Trailer

Another new trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man takes our favorite wall-crawler fighting villains and aiding friends.

Upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive game Marvel’s Spider-Man from developer Insomniac Games and publisher Sony Interactive is definitely going to be one of the biggest hit of this year. By now, we have witnessed a few trailer featuring story elements, gameplay mechanics and an announcement for a limited edition PS4 Pro bundle themed on the game. As the schedule for release is nearing, a brand-new gameplay launch trailer is released to crank up the hype to fans even more.

The trailer opens up with Peter talking to Miles Morales as Spider-Man about leaving the fight for the pros from next time, meaning whether Miles gets into some action story-wise or probably there are some scopes to play as him. We see Spidey kicking butt of Kingpin and leading to his arrest. He tangles with Minster Negative, Rhino, Scorpion and mercenary Silver Sable from past trailers. The video ends on the point where we previously saw Miles taking a photo of him back at E3 2017.

Aside from an improved combat system, swinging mechanics for the web-slinger is also top-notch and they make the playing experience a lot more enjoyable from any other game till date featuring our titular hero. While saving the world fighting off bad-guys, Peter takes time out talking to his Aunt May to maintain his dual life as she checks in on him. At the end of the day, we still are unclear about the identity of the mysterious entity from E3 2018 gameplay trailer he was so surprised to see.

The game is not based on any comic-book lineup or even the newly established MCU setup. However, the Spider-Man from the game continuity is going to participate in an upcoming crossover event "Spidergeddon" from Marvel Comics. Our best guess is, Insomniac is probably going for a new start of a shared Marvel Games Universe, where our favorite web-head is a slightly old Peter Parker than usual and the character we knew all along are also a bit different than they used to be.

Shadow’s setting, jungles of Peru are highlighted and shown how it lets Lara adapts her tactics against a militant force. Sneaking past her enemies to land a sudden attack or using her surroundings for camouflage is what makes her as dangerous as the landscape she is in. Also by developing her skill tree, new skills can be unlocked or finding out ancient totems like Eagle’s Talon can do that. It allows her to perform a rope takedown on an unsuspecting enemy and leave him hanging on a tree.

Let's not forget about the deadly jaguars that dwell on the jungle of South America and can come face-to-face with her. Survival skills will come in handy in situations like this and avoiding attacks before delivering the killing blow is very crucial. To keep track of its position, there are Perception herbs similar to previously introduced Medicinal herbs. Developers have set the riddles in a way that will surely force the players to implement logic to crack them. These tombs are more expansive than ever and some of them will take Lara underwater just like the old days but with deadly piranhas lurking around.

Until the parties responsible for making the series a possibility is looking for sending her into a new adventure, this one is the final installment of the franchise. A live-action Tomb Raider movie starring Alicia Vikander and Dominic West also attempted to reestablish the series on cinema earlier this year.

To get the secret ending, you will start with Arthur Hastings' story after the game begins and he will be running his Redactor device to check and remove reference sources of tragedies regarding mind-altering campaigns of Wellington Wells. He will come across an article that refers to a tragic past regarding his younger brother Percy. This presents a quick turn of events to players with a choice to take a hallucinogenic drug known as "Joy" to remove his sadness or try to think freely.

To go ahead and see what challenges the world of WHF has in store for you; most players would refrain from taking the pill. On the contrary, if Arthur ends up taking the Joy pill, he will go back to his happy life without ever meeting other playable characters Sally and Ollie to dig deep about the dark secrets the city hides from everyone. In recent memory, similar hidden ending was found in Ubisoft's action-adventure FPS title Far Cry 5, where you could see the game end in 10 minutes.

If the idea of playing though the entire plot in a British dystopia of 60's doesn't seem that appealing to you at all then you can always take the low road and get away. Of course, any gamer under normal circumstances would generally want to go through the entire story of the game once they get their hands on it but for some unknown reason, Compulsion Games decided to let people take a quick exit. So, anyone is looking for a quick way out to end credits, you know now how to get there.

Adding this secret ending was a fine nod to display how an indulged populace has become a social norm these days and how taking less aggressive actions can sometime get you out of situations. We Happy Few entered Steam's Early Access program after a successful Kickstarter crowd funding campaign and upon being delayed back in January, they even offered a refund. Finally, things were sorted out when Microsoft Studios acquired the studio and helped them launch the game on 10 August 2018.

Just like Arthur and Sally, Ollie had an awakening about the fact that the retro-futuristic city they live in has some terrible dark past and a hallucinogenic drug known as "Joy" is doing that. Being a mad Scotsman and ex-soldier, he is not liked by everyone around him and he hates television celebrity Uncle Jack but he has an invisible friend though. Despite pitted against all odds, he did keep his Scottish heritage intact and even managed to survive in the Garden District nearing old train station.

On their take on Ollie's character, art director Whitney Clayton wanted to go for someone who is a tough nut to crack. While he is still wearing his old military jacket and old army boots, he is more than a soldier who notices the anomaly of his society. Although he may not remember all of his past in entirety, he finds purpose in life upon discovering secrets of the Victory Memorial Camp. Like the other two playable figures, Ollie Starkey has his unique perks and abilities that will help him uncover the truth.

While the artificially-enthused society around her constantly wants her to indulge in a hallucinogenic drug known as "Joy", she is looking for a way out of this forced madness upon them. For her grooviest fashion sense, Sally is deemed as a wonderful girl in this alternative reality, retro-futuristic city of 1960's England.

Aside from being a chemist who assists one of the doctors in creating Joy, she is very dazzling and witty. During her character design process, art director Whitney Clayton wanted her to be both a clever chemist and an iconic social figure that everyone knows. However, her glamorous and smart outlook is just a front to hide her secret past that can get her killed if it ever comes out. Her unique appearance and stance is heavily inspired by 60's fashion models like Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick.

We Happy Few Introduces Arthur Hastings

Compulsion Games introduces We Happy Few’s first playable character Arthur Hastings.

Psychedelic horror game We Happy Few was previously scheduled to release worldwide on April 13, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Featuring three different campaigns, protagonist Arthur’s story from the game needed more work to accomplish the desired look they were trying to achieve; therefore it was pushed back to summer 2018. Now that it is finally set to release on 10 August 2018, we are here to discuss about its first playable character Arthur Hastings.

In a 60's English town Wellington Wells, Arthur is a common man working to censor newspaper archives off offending stories. When he came across old news about him and his younger brother, he refused to take a hallucinogenic drug known as "Joy", which everyone else in town has been indulged with. So, in an attempt to dug deep and discover the truth, he discovers a dark history of his retro-futuristic city that everyone else is cheerfully denying everyday with their Joy pills.

He may be a man of plain appearance that wouldn't drive attention of the onlookers and very easy to miss in a crowd but like two other playable characters of the game, he has his unique ability perks. Art director Whitney Clayton designed Arthur's character based on typical awkward people pushed around by his peers. Sporting a nerdy look in glasses and a thin frame, he is good at running away and it is very crucial for survival. He is also pretty good with melee weapons like a club.
