When you are finished playing the base game, you or your assassin character isn't done with the mythology of Ancient Greece just yet. The first major story arc that Odyssey will take us into is titled Legacy of the First Blade and it reveal the history of the first person who has ever wailed the iconic Hidden Blade.

The Fate of Atlantis will come out next as the second storyline that takes players to a journey to discover truth of the renowned sunken city and even go up against godly creatures.

Legacy of the First Blade will debut on December and The Fate of Atlantis arrives by spring of 2019. Those post-launch story arcs will come out in episodic nature; each releasing in six weeks after another and in-between them, free in-game regular quests will follow in Tales of Greece.

Purchasing Gold, Pantheon, Spartan or Ultimate Editions of the game automatically grants you access to Season Pass or you can just get it separately. Also, Discovery Tour returns from Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Speaking of history earlier, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered are both added into Season Pass content. These two games will have all of their original content, plus DLC with visual enhancements of 4K and HDR support for experiencing high-resolution graphics even on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X platform.

Although the former remastered edition title was criticized for having poor plot, it still managed to sell over 3.5 million copies.

You can still make a stand-alone purchase for the remastered titles if you are not at all interested to buy the Season Pass for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Ubisoft made the same approach with Far Cry 3 Classic Edition when it came along with Season Pass of Far Cry 5.

So, after you complete your quest on Greece as Alexios or Kassandra, you can have some more fun-time with Connor or the first female protagonist of the series, Aveline de Grandpré to experience the era of American Revolution.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey Confirmed

Earlier, news of a new Assassin's Creed game titled Assassin's Creed Odyssey came out from a keychain, which not only revealed the franchise's next setup to be ancient Greece, it also seem to connect with last year's critically acclaimed release Assassin's Creed Origins, where we explored ancient Egypt with protagonist Bayek. Ubisoft eventually confirmed those rumors of an upcoming entry of their open-world action-adventure franchise by revealing a short clip on Twitter.

Previously, the developer even denied of any possibilities for a sequel this year and instead chose to focus on more DLC expansions for Origins. So, we were led to believe that either the keychain is an early leak or Odyssey might probably be a large expansion because of its connection to game's ending and suggestive setup of ancient Greece. Realizing that their tight-kept secret is out of the bag anyway, Ubisoft decided to officially confirm their involvement in a sequel with a short tease.

The upcoming title is in fact "Assassin's Creed Odyssey", a direct nod to Homer's The Odyssey and though very short in length, the video was able to generate much hype. We see a Greek warrior throwing his enemy off from a cliff with a Spartan kick as we saw in live-action film 300 and then the game’s title card takes over the screen showing the new official logo for Odyssey. The traditional Assassin's Creed insignia is changed and a Corinthian helmet is placed at the center of their symbol.

This teaser came with a caption “See you at E3”, clearly hinting of more detailed reveal to happen in E3 2018, which will be June 12-14. In past, the series has ventured into many era from history and had some low performing entries but with Assassin's Creed Origins, Ubisoft was finally able to turn the tide to their favor. The sole reason for that success was the extra year they decided to take for development and hopefully, Odyssey will receive the same treatment to be a stand out title.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey Leaked

Apparently a direct sequel to Ubisoft's action-adventure game Assassin's Creed Origins has been leaked recently. Titled Assassin's Creed Odyssey, this upcoming game will embody a new age for Assassin's Creed franchise. Although the game is still set on distant past, it most probably will introduce a new combat system as well. Also, our hero Bayek from last game will be replaced with a new protagonist who will be venturing in a brand-new open world setting.

Despite skepticism in the early period before release, Origins turned out to be a commercial and critical success. This is mostly because the developers took an extra whole year to work on this project instead of rushing things and moving from their same old New Year release schedule. Looks like they are back again in their same old track with the brand-new upcoming game Odyssey. Since no official announcement was made, very little details about it is out there.

Rumor of this possible leak for Odyssey first surfaced on a French site, Jeuxvideo, where they have displayed a stylish keychain that is clearly merchandise related to Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The name of the game is not the only hint we want you to take, because there are more. Alongside game's title, there is a logo right under the Assassin's symbol which has a heavy resemblance with helmet from ancient Greece. Also, Odyssey is a renowned Greek epic, implying that the series is moving from Ancient Egypt to Greece.

Before you start pointing out that everyone else could make up a fake key chain and logo because it does not look official or authentic, there is more than this merchandise leak. In the end of Assassin's Creed Origins and its post-game DLC campaign, Ubisoft did actually indicate of a future Greece location. Also, we see Bayek either helping or taking down Greeks and Romans who came across the sea to Egypt in his later operations. Wouldn't it be natural for him and his Brotherhood to continue following the cause and go to Greece?

Besides, new rumor of another Assassin's Creed game was already been out for some time now. Plus, the infamous Walmart leak from few weeks back actually spoiled many anticipating announcement before E3 2018 along with a new title from the franchise. A post on 4chan that made its way to Reddit has the same indication for a plot set on Greece in time of Flavian Dynasty of Roman Empire. Bayek may not return as main character as that era begin almost a century after the events of Origins but he can always appear in flashbacks.

On that note, our friendly advice is to take all leaks and rumors should be taken with a grain of salt but the ratio of leaked information turning out to be true is too damn high these days. Ubisoft did a fine job with Origins and it would only be logical for them to maintain that success streak and maybe even produce a trilogy of some sort. Since they stated that a new release in 2018 is not likely to happen and they will focus on DLC's, Odyssey may turn out to be an expansion after all.
