Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass Teaser Trailer

Serious Sam is back on "A brutally bigger scale"! Croteam and Devolver Digital teased Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass!

Although developer studio Croteam released six new games in last seven years, they always face a common question; where is Serious Sam? This is a valid question because the franchise was both a commercial and critical success. For some time, the developers have been working with publisher Devolver Digital to release Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour and Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope. Seeing those projects succeed, now they decided to officially announce Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass with a teaser.

The teaser offers nothing that we haven't ever seen before in a Serious Sam game but if showcases how the game has evolved over the years in so many different ways.

The trailer opens up with Sam "Serious" Stone driving his motorcycle into a location that is a quiet place and green everywhere. It could be a pastoral farm as we see a deer playfully wandering around. From a considerable distance, he notices a Beheaded Kamikaze heading towards his direction for their typical for suicidal attack while screaming loudly. Sam blows him up into bits by shooting as he passed and head straight towards a field with hundreds of them in it along with many other monsters.

This is where this shorter than a minute teaser ends and we got an idea that Sam is back in business once again to slay tons of evil extraterrestrial beings to save Earth from another invasion by their leader Mental. Croteam wants to take things on a much bigger scale with their most popular first-person shooter series and so, they are back with a mainline entry six years after releasing Serious Sam 3: BFE.

There is a Steam page for Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass but it offers no clue about the game at all, except that it will be available for PC of course. At E3 2018, Croteam will finally reveal what new super powerful weapons Sam will be wielding or why he is returning to take care of enemy force. That means, we can mark the calendar for June 12-14 to see full reveal of the game.
