In latest "The Gig" trailer, CDPR shows a vibrant side of Night City from prologue section of the game. V starts off a mercenary career by teaming-up with a thief named Jackie Welles and their adventure will lead to series of consequences.

They come across street-smart netrunner T-Bug and a fixer named Dexter Deshawn, who assigns them to steal a prototype biochip that belongs to Arasaka Corporation and they screw up so hard that Johnny Silverhand had to show up.

Adam Smasher
For a brief glance, a brand-new enemy character is shown in latest trailer named Adam Smasher. He took body modification and cybernetic implants to next level and has almost become a cyborg with ties to Arasaka Corporation.

Adam is originated from Cyberpunk Red pen-and-paper game by creator Mike Pondsmith and player character will face-off against this 9-feet-tall metal man in a brawl at some point if they choose to pursue corporate storyline from start.

The Badlands
One of the seven districts of Night City known as Badlands is where you would meet V's partner in crime, Jackie Welles. Together, you will attempt to acquire a rumored chip of immortality from Arasaka Corp. on behalf of Dexter Deshawn.

People will come across many factions and gangs while scouring through these areas to engage in side-quests. CDPR dev team has hinted of encountering many challenges in an open-world and having Mad Max-style sandbox gameplay action.

Braindance Mode
Braindance gameplay segment begins with tech savvy Mox gang member Judy Alvarez showing V how to navigate through its neural tech how to relive past events and memories of a person using a video-editing software like interface.

V can access recorded memories of non-player characters using BD tech, another concept taken from Cyberpunk tabletop game. You can see through eyes of an NPC or in third-person to give you a better view of surrounding environment.

Braindance feature is useful to scan area details for clues and may come in handy to solve various puzzles. Recordings will have separate layers for audio and visuals with additional data of adjacent background of a particular scene.

BD tech will turn players into an advanced security camera as described by quest designers Pawel Sasko. Braindance is a brilliant way to include puzzles into CP2077 and CD Projekt Red has spent enough time to add more of them.

Customization and Player Choice
Before beginning your journey in Night City, customization for mercenary protagonist V begins at character creator with base body type. You can pick up masculine or feminine voice and nitty-gritty features like markings, tattoos etc.

We now live in a world where almost everything is heavily focused on individuality and you can even adjust body features like private parts. Your appearance and cybernetic modifications is your identity in a near-distant future of Cyberpunk.

CD Projekt Red has added 17 eyes, 8 eyebrows, 35 hairstyles, 17 jaw and mouths, 3 nipple types, 2 penis size and types, 6 skin types, 11 piercings, 5 pubic hair styles and only 1 vagina option to let you customize your sexy body parts.

Previous options like Netrunner from Cyberpunk 2077 deep dive is seemingly removed from current build of the game. Each available class will have a set opening and different dialogue options that will surely affect your playthrough.

More you get access to spreading perk trees, your hacking skills will get better or brute strength will increase. Cyberware allows V's body to be outfitted with enhancement and weaponry for further alteration to impact your playthrough.

There are mods to let you hack into tech to know camera and enemy positions within a room, which helps a lot for stealth play. Or you can install wire-like whips via Monowire that gives you an edge in melee combats during any encounter.

RELATED: Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time Announced

Night City is divided into many districts that houses different factions like corporation shills, street gangs or even wastelanders trying to survive. Many of them will come across V as friends or enemies depending on your dialogue and choices.

While interacting with a gang, you can try and attack them to steal from them or pay up to avoid trouble. Not every situation gives you enough response time to rethink your decisions and you have to rely on instinct for most part.

RELATED: Cyberpunk 2077 Will Have Full Nudity

Even when conflict becomes unavoidable, Cyberpunk 2077 gives you more than one way out based on your skill sets. V can eventually turn into a tank with enough reflexes or choose to wield firearms and melee weapons in a fight.

Those who prefer a stealthier approach can focus developing Cool skill tree and become master of hacking. V will be controlling cameras, distract enemies, turn their device on them, making a weapon malfunction or just explode a grenade.

Streets of Rage 4 PC Version on GOG Lacks Online Multiplayer

GOG store is selling Streets of Rage 4 PC Version without online multiplayer and yet charging for a full price.

After a very long departure from series for nearly 25 years, classic side-scrolling beat 'em up game Streets of Rage 4 makes a comeback to its genre lately by launching on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms.

Although all versions of SoR4 seemingly have released with all similar features in common, GOG version of the game for PC platform is not supporting online multiplayer mode in spite of having a same price tag as Steam storefront.

RELATED: Streets of Rage 4 Reveals New Screenshots

PC version on GOG has a disclaimer that evidently states that two-player online mode is currently not available on store and DRM-free version of SoR4 only supports up to four-player in local co-op action, not two-player online.

When a fan asked on social media about whether Streets of Rage 4 will have cross-play with Steam, a reply from developer Lizardcube recently confirmed about removal of online gameplay and only accessibility of local multiplayer.

RELATED: Streets of Rage 4 Gameplay Teaser

In a response to fan on Twitter, this unfortunate shortcoming for GOG version is verified by Lizardcube.

RELATED: Streets of Rage 4 Introduces Cherry Hunter

Though Lizardcube suggests there is no online mode on GOG, store note claims that SoR4 will not be supporting online features "at this time". In this case, you may have to choose between no DRM and no multiplayer option therefore.

In general, beat 'em up games are much more fun to play with friends but since many players are staying indoors these days due to recent COVID-19 pandemic, they have to mostly rely on online experience for instead of couch co-op.

RELATED: Streets of Rage 4 Introduces Floyd Iraia and Multiplayer

Despite providing a literal inferior version of SoR4, both GOG and Steam version are being sold for $24.99 only. Considering lack of a major feature, Lizardcube could at least offer everyone to get the game at a lesser price as a courtesy.

A modern-day revival of known franchise, Streets of Rage 4 was only made possible due to collective efforts of DotEmu, Guard Crush Games and Lizardcube with blessings from series creator Sega, who served as a publisher this time.

Darksiders: Genesis is Overpriced on Google Stadia

Google Stadia would charge $10 extra on regular price of Darksiders: Genesis and THQ deny commenting.

Latest installment of Darksiders series is a top-down hack and slash action role-playing game from developer Airship Syndicate and publisher THQ Nordic titled Darksiders: Genesis just came out on December 5, 2019 for PC and Google Stadia.

If suffering from a rocky launch last month was not bad enough for Stadia due to lack of promised features and latency issue, Genesis would cost people $10 extra on Google's cloud gaming service than it would for PC version.

Stadia Pro subscribers received an exclusive offer from Google of up to 50% discount on select games like Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Tomb Raider reboot from 2013 but members got no price off on Genesis purchase or pre-order.

It would cost you $39.99 to buy Darksiders: Genesis on Stadia whereas you can get a copy of at Steam for only $14.99 right now to save $25 right off the bat or get it from outlets like GOG or Humble Store at a standard price of just $29.99.

RELATED: MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries Launch Trailer

A price difference with PC version is a very absurd idea for a service that just had a rough launch period earlier and very less to offer in terms of their game catalog, with major titles like Borderlands 3 to arrive later this year.

When reached out to THQ Nordic for comments on price variation between platforms, their representative chose not to speak on their price policy and there is clearly no indication of why Stadia would charge more for a game than other stores.

Some players are trying to point out that console versions of games often cost more than PC release and Google is likely taking an additional $10 to follow similar pricing model but then again, Stadia is not a console at all.

Set before events from previous titles, Darksiders: Genesis is a spin-off prequel that awaits a console release on February 2020. Its plot explores a war between Heaven and Hell, featuring both Strife and War as two playable lead characters.

Cyberpunk 2077 Won't Let You Attack Children or Story NPC

Although you can fight almost anyone in Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 will not let you hurt kids or NPCs related to story.

An open-world game, upcoming role-playing title Cyberpunk 2077 from developer/publisher CD Projekt Red will allow players freedom to become whoever they want to be as player character V or do almost whatever they wish to do in Night City.

People can hurt others or even take on a role of a pacifist by not killing anyone at all and yet complete all tasks. Despite having very little in-game player restrictions, you won't be able to violently attack any children or NPCs essential to story.

Of course there are people that come after you and you have to fight back or there are gang members and corporate jerks that you would want to give a beating but there are still limits to who you can or cannot physically harm.

So, if you are intend to be aggressive towards everyone around you or go on a murderous spree, children and NPCs important to game story will be protected, according to a recent response on Reddit from a CDPR representative.

Also, trying to aggressive and antagonize folks have their unique consequences; especially if you decide to pick a fight with gangs or start causing trouble in a police-controlled area, they sure would react and even come after you.

Previously, developer/publisher Bethesda made it so that players of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would not be able to hurt or kill children by making them unkillable to do away with problematic portrayals of any violence against children.

CDPR actually took a pretty thoughtful step to avoid further unnecessary debacle regarding people getting upset over sensitive subjects as child abuse in a video game by protecting them while making almost everyone else fair game.

CD Projekt Red has already been in controversies regarding transgender representation and minority groups in Cyberpunk 2077 but creator Mike Pondsmith, who came to their defense suggesting the studio is paying proper respect to cultural difference.
