World of Warcraft: Lost Honor – Cinematic

Battle for Azeroth had Saurfang of Horde captured by Alliance but now he returns to fight for a different side.

The newest expansion of World of Warcraft, Battle for Azeroth has upstaged an epic conflict between two major factions, Alliance and Horde that resulted in heavy damage on both sides but most importantly, Horde General Varok Saurfang was captured.

During the opening ceremony of their BlizzCon 2018 annual event, news and updates regarding upcoming patch for the game was discussed and new videos were dropped. One of these clips focuses on the disgraced Horde warrior and reflects on what is coming next.

The cinematic trailer shows a confrontation between King Anduin Wrynn and his prisoner of war Varok Saurfang, regarding the allegiance to their people.

In Battle for Lordaeron, Sylvanas Windrunner unleashed her genocidal fury upon both the Alliance and Horde, which equally scared everyone. As Alliance King Anduin look at their last few remaining soldiers wondering what they did wrong, he is reminded by Genn Greymane that he is doing everything he can to stop the Banshee Queen.

He then goes to the cell where Saurfang is currently kept and asked why he didn't kill Anduin when he had the chance in Lordaeron? The veteran points out that he could kill him now but he wants his old Horde back, which Sylvanas is destroying.

RELATED: World of Warcraft: Warbringers: Sylvanas

Anduin asks him again why Anduin spared him and to which, the Orc simply states that he thought it would stop her but the Alliance King replies, he can't do it alone. He then left the gate open while his prisoner states at him.

Just like the Horde’s most honorable soldier was previously spared by him for his sense of honor, he spared the Alliance King in hopes that it would probably stop destroying everything that his people stood for throughout ages.

Within the next few months, the newest patch "Tides of Vengeance" will release for World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and players will witness how this new alliance between two honorable leaders changes the tide of battle.

The conflict of interest that has put Saurfang against his ruthless Warchief will surely have some grave ramification in the upcoming battle and maybe even led to something that he has been seeking for so long, if you know what we mean by that!

It was months ago in August, when Blizzard Entertainment announced through an official video that they were working on a couple of Diablo projects that they would love to showcase at BlizzCon 2018 and Diablo Immortal is the latest in the line from the franchise.

The new cinematic released for the game reveals that it takes place between the events of DiabloII: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III, coming to both Android and iOS. Although many fans were waiting for Diablo IV, they got this but it doesn't look that bad either.

Currently available demo lets you get into the action with a touchscreen right away and it does well for a fast-paced action game. Except for Witch Doctor, most of the playable classes are available but hardcore fans of the franchise can skip this one out.

The developers also anticipated that players probably are hoping for a sequel game based on the Lord of Terror and subtly left hints that it might take more time to deliver what they want. Despite having the feel of Diablo III, the game needs more polishing to have appeal and acceptance from fans.

Although, none of these storylines will move the actual plot any further, it sure adds pieces of information on reactions of characters involved.

World of Warcraft: Old Soldier – Cinematic

World of Warcraft releases a new cinematic trailer on one of Horde’s oldest soldiers, Varok Saurfang.

We are nearing very close to the release of the seventh expansion pack Battle for Azeroth for World of Warcraft, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game from developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment and they too are launching related tutorial guides and animated shorts to help us catch on to it. Titled "Old Soldier", this new cinematic clip has moved from the hand-drawn look to a completely rendered cinematic while focusing on Saurfang.

Awaiting dawn, when an imminent battle awaits at Horde's doorstep, Varok Saurfang recalls events of the death of his son, Dranosh, where his son was granted a warrior's death instead of him. He looked over the approaching Alliance to exact vengeance on them for burning down the World Tree, Teldrassil. He was strongly opposed to Sylvanas’ decision as there was no glory in it. While still battling with his inner conflicts, he attempts to remove his heavy armor and then a young troll Zekhan came by.

RELATED: World of Warcraft: Warbringers: Jaina

Apparently, Zekhan has heard a lot about Saurfang from his father Hekazi and considers him as a legend. To his comment of falling in honor and glory in coming war, Varok simply grunts and clarified that there won't be any honor except pain. When the orc starts to advance toward the Alliance army to face them and finally die, Zekhan tags along trying to convince him that for many like him, the Horde is all they have and thus, commander Varok returns toward the walls of Lordearon.

Blizzard Responds to World of Warcraft Leveling Experience

Blizzard's Battle for Azeroth pre-patch is causing serious leveling problems for players in World of Warcraft.

In anticipation for the upcoming release of Battle For Azeroth, seventh expansion pack for massively multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft, developer/publisher Blizzard Entertainment released a pre-patch earlier this month to remove some old content and update the classes while also adding new quests for players to enjoy. Even though patch 8.0 was meant to improve the experience for better, it unfortunately turned out to be a trouble-maker for all instead.

Blizzard immediately got on board with bringing some changes and revamping the level scaling system as soon as Battle for Azeroth got announced at BlizzCon 2017. When they lowered the overall numbers recently to provide clarity, it actually sparked some serious in-game issues for gamers that led to daily released patch hotfixes, simply to tend to matters at hand that they forgot to look over before deploying the pre-patch and they still are unsure about what do about it right now.

RELATED: World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Pre-Patch Release Date

On their forums, game director Ion Hazzikostas admitted that currently leveling curve is taking for each player 15% longer to go from 60-80 and the journey to 110 is a whole another story. In theory, 15 percent may not seem like that much but over the course of progressing through 20 levels, it can become a pain in the back. Despite their tireless attempt to get rid of these issues, he also apologized to the community for such setbacks, because this was never Blizzard’s battle plan with pre-patch.

RELATED: World of Warcraft: Warbringers: Jaina

These problems could have arisen because they have reduced the number too much or probably messed up other combat calculations. However, instead of taking a quick action and unknowingly cover up real source of the problem, which could become an even bigger issue after the launch of Battle for Azeroth, developers have decided to keep investigating to apply a permanent solution. Because, this degraded experience for all WoW players is not what they had in mind and it should be fixed.

RELATED: World of Warcraft Subscription Includes All Pre-Released Content

After World of Warcraft has recently changed their pricing model to active monthly Subscription-only, the developers also made all previous expansions available to members along with the original base game. Whatever neutral field patch 8.0 was designed for to achieve, it ended up squishing player stats and item levels, resulting huge fan disappointment. Hazzikostas promises further updates from their team to take care of whatever mess the pre-patch has made.
