Both of these classic games are coming with 4K visual improvements at 60 frames per second but most probably you will need a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X to enjoy that. Texture resolution is improved and texture format gets upgraded while super-sampling is added.

Improved lighting and updated controls are there to help the silent assassin with clarity towards his objective at hand. Other features include heightened shadow map and mirror resolutions to enhance the overall gameplay experience for seasoned veterans and new players.

When these two titles were submitted to Pan European Game Information board to get content ratings on September 2018, there were rumors and speculation that we are getting a re-release of some sorts, which turned out to be true after all.

Considering how the latest release of IO Interactive was received by fans, launching remastered version of Absolution and Blood Money for consoles is quite a smart move. However, the developer hasn't revealed any plans to release a PC version yet.

Capcom May Remake Resident Evil Remaster

While the world waits for the release of Resident Evil 2 Remake, Capcom is considering more remake projects.

Before they made a showcase of Resident Evil 2 Remake at E3 2018 press conference to an overwhelmingly positive response, even developer/publisher Capcom may not have thought that it could work out so good for them and now they are interested to keep rolling.

We heard jokes about their plan of making a remake of the 2015's remaster version of the original zombie shooter game Resident Evil of 1996 but apparently, developers at Capcom were not kidding about it at all.

RELATED: Capcom Open to More Resident Evil Remake

Despite the temporary debacle regarding an overpriced typewriter included in the $900 worth Premium Edition of the game, fans have been nothing else but extremely supportive towards the upcoming release and that tells the company how much crazy people are over the world about the RE franchise.

Capcom even attempted of teasing Resident Evil 3 Remake by Tweeting an image of the game's villain Nemesis from their official Twitter account on Friday the 13th of July this year.

RELATED: Capcom Teasing Resident Evil 3 Remake?

Needless to say, this Tweet has also ignited fire to fan's hype over more Remake projects on RE games in the future and Capcom neither defended nor denied the claim. During Gamescom 2018, director Kazunori Kadoi talks about their plans in an interview and says that, they are only concerned about January 25 right now.

Of course, they would love to explore the possibilities in future with other potential classic titles but at this very moment, they are not willing to commit to anything in advance.

RELATED: Resident Evil 2 Remake's Hardest Part Was Alligator

He believes that enough time has passed that they can remake the Resident Evil HD Remaster version and it won't look ridiculous. Besides, the idea of remake the remake is something they would love to work with and that is not for the sake of milking the franchise.

So much more could be done with a revamped fan-favorite game without feeding to nostalgia. A generation wide gap could bridge up between modern day players and seasoned veterans of Resident Evil series.

"Certainly enough time has passed that it wouldn’t be laughable to remake the remake. I personally think that would be an interesting thing to do."
RELATED: Resident Evil 2 Remake Collector’s Edition Announced

Capcom also requests fans to not call the 2019's upcoming game as a remake, because they are simply revisiting old settings with a slightly altered storyline. Familiar faces like Claire Redfield and Sherry Birkin are being reimagined 20 years after their original debut.

Experience of the Spencer Mansion and Racoon City Police Department are brought back for fans to revisit. Since the 2002 HD Remaster is acclaimed for graphics and gameplay, they want to slightly tinker with that for improvement.

RELATED: Resident Evil 2 Remake Premium Edition Announced

If Capcom wants people to go back to the roots of their survival horror legacy from the very beginning with Resident Evil 2 Remake, it essentially isn't a bad thing at all. Games like Resident Evil Zero and Resident Evil 4 would probably top at most fan's remake list when they do.

At least, it would allow players to enjoy those classic titles on modern day gaming platforms like PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One and Xbox One X.
