Fortnite Season 5 Release Date

With their current Season nearing to an end, Epic Games have just confirmed release date of Fortnite Season 5 in a Tweet.

Shortly ahead of its anticipating launch, developer/publisher Epic Games have come forward to announce an official release date for Fortnite Season 5 through a teasing Tweet today. We know now that the newest season of the insanely popular free-to-play Battle Royale game available for all platforms, is only a few days away and this was really nice of them to finally confirm the date which we knew earlier from this month to be July 12, following the end of a thriving Season 4.

Speaking of tease, aside from making the announcement for their next season in the Tweet, developers have left another hint, which is a mask from a crack on screen and is going to break out in-game anytime. Like always, theorist fans are coming up with different ideas and booming up online with suggestions regarding the mask. It looks similar to kitsune or fox in Japanese, which shape-shifts into diverse forms and has supernatural powers according to Japanese yokai folklore.

We are in no position of making any solid meaning of the subtle clue left by Epic Games but this marks to be the first time Japan has been referenced in the game so far. Players have already ventured through history of ancient Egypt, pirate anchors and wooden carriages so far. Possibly themes of Ancient Japan might be explored or there are even chances for a time-travel. At this point, we are just spit balling and waiting for three more days to know what is waiting ahead of us all.

Considering the game is all about building and shooting, shifting forms and appearances may be a hint for introducing stealth, which is just a wild guess from us of course. Lately, the company had been in a beef with PUBG Corporation concerning a lawsuit over copyright violation on last-man-standing shooter PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. Since that case has been dropped afterwards, Epic Games is fully back on track with newest Season for their most successful game ever.

Bethesda Sues Westworld Game as Fallout Shelter Ripoff

Bethesda files lawsuit against Warner Bros. over the release of Westworld mobile game, for ripping-off Fallout Shelter.

Last week, a mobile game is released which is based on the popular science fiction western TV series on HBO, Westworld. As soon as it hit Smartphone platform, it is hit by a lawsuit from popular video game publisher Bethesda Softworks for shamelessly ripping off their free-to-play simulation game Fallout Shelter from 2015. They have sued Warner Bros. and developer Behaviour Interactive over this matter, because the latter were involved when both of these titles were being developed.

As a part of post-apocalyptic role-playing Fallout game series, Fallout Shelter puts player into the role of a Vault Overseer, who supervises activities and building for the accommodation of remaining survivors in an irradiated wasteland. Despite being a free-to-play entry in the series, it has micro-transactions and random loot box features that made it a commercial hit, leading its way to other major platforms like Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One afterwards.

Canadian studio Behaviour Interactive previously teamed up with Bethesda during the development of Fallout Shelter and they were no stranger to working with licensed video game properties either. When Warner Bros. Entertainment hired them for the new Westworld mobile game, it came out as a copy of Bethesda's game in terms of designs and gameplay. So, wasting no further time, one publisher took it to the court against the company in charge of distribution for Westworld.

Accusing the developer for multiple misconducts as breach of contract, copyright violation and stealing trade secrets to others, Bethesda filed a legal suit on June 21. Warner Bros. was also alleged to have influenced the studio for taking this unethical step that lead the publisher some considerable amount of damage. Instead of being coy about it, Bethesda simply calls out the Westworld mobile game a "rip-off” because of the uncanny similarities of art, animations and gameplay.

They points out that there were some bugs in their early game, which they removed later but those same glitches are is still present on the game in question and that is a clear example of the codes being reused. While they are all worked up with newest entry from Fallout series, Fallout 76, Bethesda was just introduced their three-year-old Fallout Shelter on bigger platforms to explore possible financial potential and so they took it pretty seriously after learning of this plagiarism.

The Wolf Among Us Season 2 Delayed to 2019

Telltale Games is delaying The Wolf Among Us Season 2 to 2019 because of fundamental changes at studio.

Developer Telltale Games have done a splendid job adapting comic-book writer Bill Willingham (Day of Vengeance, Justice Society of America)'s Fables comic book series from DC Comics's Vertigo imprint into one of their epic fantasy interactive episodic graphic adventure. Following the immense success of Season 1, Telltale announced for The Wolf Among Us Season 2 back in July, 2017. It was scheduled to release on 2018 but unfortunately that date is pushed back to 2019 now.

Fans that were eagerly waiting for the latter half of 2018 to see Season 2 of the game probably are a little bit pissed when almost one year after the initial announcement they get to know this shocker! Clearly this should upset many players because we rarely had any follow-up news from the creator studio about its development and now, suddenly out of the blue we get to know that, we should wait another year. That kind of sucks!

Although Telltale have mentioned about the issue recently stating, this inconvenience is totally unintentional and is because of some essential changes since they announced the title last summer. While that doesn't seem like anything big but it can mean that there might be a change of gameplay which will be introduced this time. Plus, they said, the studio will invest this extra time in improving quality and experiment with this project. Does that make any sense to you now?

There is another fact that could possibly be the reason for this delay and it is, the studio laid off 25 percent of their workforce, which is a total of 90 employees. The company responsible for making critically acclaimed games like Game of Thrones, Minecraft and The Walking Dead, has decided to move forward with a smaller team to deliver a fewer but better quality video games in future. Whether or not this restructuring has helped them in their goal, it can be partially responsible for setbacks in their deadline.

Bill Willingham’s award-winning Fables worked out amazingly fine with Telltale Games' unique format of storytelling with The Wolf Among Us. Season 1 comprising five-episode was released back in 2013 for every playable platforms like Android, iOS, Mac, PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. So, we can only hope that the second Season will probably do the same as well.

This one comes with their weekly update 1.59 and possibly one of the weirdest modes ever. There is no rocket science behind this new mode and it starts just like every other match for every for solo players, because squads or duos are not allowed in this mode. Right after you are dropped into the map, you go out seeking to wipe out your competition while also looking for the Infinity Gauntlet. When you finally find it to claim for yourself, you become Thanos and this one is not just a cool looking skin. Upon becoming The Mad Titan, players will be given 700 health and 300 shields, which are way above than what regular brawlers gets. While the movie is creating history by breaking tons of box-office records, the game itself is also making serious waves in gaming industry. Celebrities like rapper Drake even joined during a live-stream to be part of this modern day pop culture phenomenon. Both are absolutely famous and this crossover just might be the next big thing.

Though there was not much information to make up what we are about to expect, it appears when a player would eventually find the Infinity Gauntlet, they would then be able to turn into Thanos. Details are not clearly suggesting what players will be allowed to do as the main antagonist for Infinity War but it sure seems like it has something to do with wiping out other players from the field maybe! So, collecting those stones before he does would probably be helpful for survival.

Whatever it presents to us, we will be able to find out very soon as the crossover is going live from tomorrow. Many may speculate that this crossover completely came out of nowhere but turns out, co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo of Avengers: Infinity War is huge fans of this free-to-play game, which they've been playing for the last couple of months. Whenever they got time for a break, they would just jump into it and then it hit them with the idea of Avengers/Fortnite mash up.

Now, this crossover sure came out of nowhere for most people but surprising as it may, this limited time event regarding two most popular franchise of current time is really a treat. You can clearly guess that this brand-new mode will draw a huge wave of players barging in just to see what impact Thanos makes with his incredibly powerful Infinity Gauntlet and where does that left Fortnite in the aftermath.
