Breath of The Wild Players Beats Game Using Twitch Chat

Twitch streamer PointCrow lets viewers to take control via chat and beat Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Although letting a group of fans take control of a game seems like a crazy idea for many that started with Twitch Plays interactive stream in 2014, people can eventually finish an entire playthrough over time with collective efforts.

Most recently, Twitch audience has taken part in completing 2017 action-adventure game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This event was planned and hosted by PointCrow, who has beaten the game lately without walking.

This time, PointCrow returned with a different idea and rigged his stream to let viewers take control via Twitch chat for every five minutes to perform various moves like backflips and parry and he would only take over at times.

PointCrow takes a backseat to lead his viewers to a variety of challenges to see if they could finish them in viable amount of time. Viewers were able to take down enemies or even a Guardian often times and sometime they just ran.

He even motivates them to complete certain tasks by putting free subscriptions of his channel and gave out 20 subs when they did it. At one point, his audience managed to learn how to coordinate and perform Flurry Rush at enemies.

During original Twitch Plays Pokémon run, there were measures in place to make sure that the stream would be making progress anyhow and in that case, players would make democratic vote to determine course of in-game decisions.

Instead of a bot putting those commands into game, having a person behind wheels is a much relatable experience. There were around 600 concurrent viewers that took part in this journey that took over 25 hours to complete.

Since you can fast travel to places in Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, it is possible for viewers to finish a regular run on their own. It took PointCrow's stream viewers nearly 17 hours to beat the game and Link died about 80 times.

Although an official release window for upcoming sequel to their multiple award-winning and best-selling Nintendo Switch title is yet to be revealed, leaked sources reports that Nintendo is currently planning to release BotW2 in 2020.

Sabi also stated that since they have not made this information public, it can always get changed at last moment and get pushed back further, which is fairly a common trait in development history of Legend of Zelda games.

In a latest Tweet, reputed leaker Sabi has put out a claim of possible release time for Breath of the Wild follow-up title.

In past, Sabi made a reputation on Twitter by leaking news of HD remaster of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz for Switch in July and a full list of indie games for Nindies Direct in August with perfect accuracy ahead of official confirmation.

Though a 2020 launch may seem too early but development of Breath of the Wild only took so long because of a new engine and design direction, which will not consume much time as they are going to use that same engine for the sequel.

This new cinematic teaser takes us back to kingdom of Hyrule once again with Link and Zelda but everything seems cryptic and dark. These two were seemingly exploring some dark, underground dungeons riding on a beast.

After passing by some ancient wall paintings, they come across a mystical force is growing from beneath and holding what appears to be a Gerudo. Shortly before this happened, they even discover the corpse of Ganon during their quest.

That magical force even seems to grab hold of Link as well before Hyrule Castle is seen shaking up from below ground. Apparently, Link either gets corrupted or kidnapped by an ancient evil and that only leaves Zelda behind to defend Hyrule.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild came out as a Switch launch title that went on to receive universal acclaim and completely reinvent TLoZ series. It was a smash-hit success for Nintendo and has sold over 14 million copies worldwide by March 2019.

Back in November 2018, there were rumors of a new mainline Legend of Zelda game may be closer than many would like to think. Many fans didn't even expect a sequel so soon but obviously, it was a welcomed surprise to them.

We are guessing that development phase of Breath of the Wild sequel may be in very early stage; so much so that Nintendo even gave it a title. Or they have things set as they wanted but possibly redacted its title to avoid giving major info out.

It is then that she discovered tutorial for useful combat techniques like backflip, charged attack, flurry rush, parry and side hop. Even though these moves could've come in handy, she came all the way without using these moves.

Learning something so late that you should've known at the beginning can be a bit frustrating knowing you could've made it easier but nevertheless negaoryx handled it pretty well. It also proves that while those moves can help you fare better but not essential exactly.

She later took Twitter to address her eye-opening experience with a highlighted clip from part of her original stream that also got attention.

Some of her followers and viewers pointed out to her that she coming all the way to the certain point without those tools in her kit is a proof to her skill. Besides, she was not much of a fan to Legend of Zelda series and the game is designed in a way that pushes players to find their own way of solutions.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure masterpiece title from developer/publisher Nintendo, which came out in early 2017 on Nintendo Switch and Wii U. The game won "Game of the Year" on the same year and broke sales records in many regions.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Mod Adds Bowsette

After conquering the internet and Bowser's castle, Bowsette arrives on Hyrule in the new Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Mod.

The world of video games is not out of Bowsette craze just yet that started a few weeks back from a fan comic on DeviantArt. Courtesy of a fan-created mod, we already saw Bowsette as the final boss in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Don't think for a second that it stopped there, because after invading Bowser's castle, the Bowser-Princess Peach hybrid is now arriving on the mythical kingdom of Hyrule though a mod in action-adventure game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is still under development.

If you are still scratching your head thinking who we are talking about here then you must have been asleep the past few weeks when this new phenomenon called Bowsette made her debut and took down the internet by storm as well as major porn sites.

Back in September, Nintendo introduced a new character Toadette in the Deluxe Edition of New Super Mario Bros. U, who could turn into a Princess Peach lookalike character with her unique features named Peachette by picking up the Super Crown.

What followed after this is that she became a hot topic trending everywhere and now she has come out of Super Mario Bros. universe to explore the domains of Hyrule as independent modder Lynard Killer decided to bring her in Breath of the Wild.

Although s not yet downloadable, interested viewers are encouraged to keep an eye on its page on GameBanana along with a few other mods for display. As for the one we are talking about, it is made with incredible precision within the boundaries he worked on.

Though it's not an actual PC game but this video of Bowsette replacing former hero Link in Breath of the Wild is a breath of fresh air for sure.

This new iteration of Bowsette tries to justice to the character and adds her noticeable attributes like a black dress, Bowser horns, spiked choker and of course the Super Crown while toning down the lewd elements that has been driving people nuts.

The character design and voice swap for her seems really good and nicely complements to the game's artistic surroundings. Aside from carrying her uniqueness, she wields a flaming sword in battle and the black attire she wears can go up in smoke if it catches fire, according to the included dress physics.

Even though Nintendo remains unfazed about their massive fan community hyping over a non-canonical character, people are getting more and more obsessed with her. It probably hurt them much if they at least appreciate the creativity among their fans for once for coming out with such new ideas.

Seeing the newly reformed crossover version of Bowser in a kingdom-saving role will probably inspire the modding communities to do more work like this and left the fans wondering what else will we be seeing her next, because if this continues, the possibilities are limitless.
