New Ghost Recon: Breakpoint story trailer for from Ubisoft reveals how Skell Technology became a global threat.

Getting leaked before making an official reveal, upcoming online tactical shooter Ghost Recon: Breakpoint from developer/publisher Ubisoft will debut on October 4, 2019 as a sequel to Ghost Recon: Wildlands for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The video opens up with a narration over a rendition of mythical creature golem and how it was an early representation for artificial intelligence back in 500 BC, which was originally designed by its creators to serve and protect.

Fast forward to last two decades and in a not-so-far future, technology has advanced to the point of creating driver-less cars and inventor Jake Skell has helped shaped that future with his Skell Technology by turning many myths into reality.

He moved further to come up with lethal drones on 2001 that helped save many U.S. lives during war in Afghanistan. Establishing headquarter in Aurora Island, they were successful in making an autonomous system in recent years.

In an unfortunate turn of events, Skell technology drones were used to kill a political candidate and media sees them as a global threat now. All contact is lost with Aurora, leading Ghost Recon team to investigate their radio silence.

Although actor Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Walking Dead) is roped in to play villain in Breakpoint after being introduced through an operation update for Wildlands, he was nowhere to be seen within the trailer above but hoping to see him in future.

Ubisoft has decided to make PC version of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint skip Steam and making it an Epic Games Store-exclusive title, as usual to their stance with The Division 2 and pre-order for Gold, Ultimate or Collector's Editions are already available up there.

Al launch, the game will let you choose from four different classes with specific abilities and you can swap between them at your will. Breakpoint will release more classes over time and plans on to offer new major expansions after each four months.

Walker is a Ghost team leader who joins Operation Oracle to rescue a Skell Technology engineer from the clutches of Unidad. Since they manufacture some high-tech gadgetry for Special Forces, his extraction from Bolivian military is crucial.

As you take on this Special Operations rescue mission, it will expand and tease to future of Wildlands universe. Despite being a tactical shooter game, the title allows players to engage in stealth action or guns blazing throughout its open-world.

GR: Wildlands have had crossover missions in recent times in a team-up with Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell series, Operators of Rainbow Six and even faced the deadly extraterrestrial hunter Predator from 1987 sci-fi action horror movie.

Playing the character of new Ghost operative Cole Walker is actor Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Walking Dead), who made a reputation of portraying bad-ass protagonists with his portrayal of Frank Castle AKA The Punisher in a lately cancelled Netflix series.

Special Operation 1 will help improve Ghosts' stealth skill as they follow legendary Sam Fisher in the field at work. These new challenges will make them more tactical, which actually helps because Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a tactical shooter.

It wasn't quite long ago when 90's renowned movie monster, The Predator came to tangle with the Ghosts in a PvE mission. Although he was a bit hard on the elite squad and gave them a tough time, they sure learned a thing or two going up against him.

Voice actor Michael Ironside also returns to portray this iconic character of the series. We might even see him working with special agents of Tom Clancy's The Division in mid-crisis Manhattan of the future shortly afterwards.

Predator Comes to Ghost Recon: Wildlands

After besting a group of Special Forces operatives three decades ago, the jungle hunter Predator returns to Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

Developer/publisher Ubisoft is bringing a surprise guest for their tactical shooter Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands this upcoming week. He is mean, has powerful weapons, super stealthy tech, has mandibles hanging over his shoulder and loves to hunt.

Legendary movie monster from 90's, The Predator will be entering open-world tactical shooter on December 14. This jungle hunter had tussled with Arnold Schwarzenegger's character Dutch almost 30 years ago into the woods of Central America.

Your deal with Predator is pretty simple in this case; you either hunt him down on your own or with your friends in a four player's co-op, or just be hunted by him. Now, three decades later, this stealthy alien warrior decided to return to jungles of South America to hunt.

Hunting the hunter will be no walk in the park since he belongs to a race of galaxy's greatest hunters but if you can somehow manage to take him down, you will be rewarded with exclusive items and you get to keep a sick Predator mask, which has thermal vision.

If you loved the movie and a fan, it sure is a great treat for you to play this one. Also, free PVP mode Ghost War gets a Predator-themed class of soldier modeled over Major Dutch Schaefer. He has a battle rage mode that can swiftly turn tides of any fight to his own ends.

Heck, we see one of these soldiers resembled to Billy Sole while we watched the trailer and even thought one of them to be truly Blain Cooper to be honest. This event is designed to make you feel the same uncertain tensions Dutch and his crew went through back then.

The Legends of the Wildlands and Fallen Ghost DLC were primary source of inspiration for working on Predator Pack in first place. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is currently available to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with Predator Pack free update.
