Street Fighter 6 Character Roster May Have Been Leaked

Originally reveled by a ransomware leak, upcoming fighting game Street Fighter 6 was revealed by developer/publisher Capcom following Capcom Pro Tour 2021 season finale earlier this year with a very lukewarm feedback from players.

A newly revealed gameplay trailer during recent State of Play showcase already teased a return of few fan-favorites for SF6. Although a full list of fighters is not announced yet, Street Fighter 6 character roster has reportedly been leaked.

Shortly after premiering Street Fighter 6 gameplay at State of Play, artwork for 22 characters is leaked on social media. No sources were confirmed but many claims to have seen these images on websites like 4chan and ResetEra forums.

Latest leak hints at return of original "World Warriors" from Street Fighter II other than Chun-Li and Ryu. Also, Akuma from Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Cammy and Dee Jay from Super Street Fighter II will be part of SF 6 character roster.

Only hours after Street Fighter 6 gameplay reveal, artwork for character roster has been leaked on Twitter.

Juri from Super Street Fighter IV as well as Ed and Rashid from Street Fighter V are coming back too. New characters include Chinese fighter named A.K.I., a dreadlock wearing American called Kimberley and a Mexican warrior named Lily.

All new and returning characters are redesigned with noticeable makeover and they look really great. Fans are digging a fully bearded and ultra wide look of Ryu, Cammy White wearing pants, re-design aesthetic of Rashid and many more.

Capcom will be celebrating 35th anniversary of Street Fighter franchise with launch of Capcom Fighting Collection later this month. An early description post on Reddit visibly matches up with new SF6 leaks that Capcom has yet to confirm.

Street Fighter 6 is currently set to arrive for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in 2023. SF6 is built with RE Engine, featuring live commentary and three game modes; Fighting Ground, World Tour and Battle Hub on launch.
