World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth Release Date

Battle for Azeroth expansion for popular multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft comes this August, announced by Blizzard.

The seventh expansion pack of world's most popular multiplayer online role-playing game World of Warcraft was announced in November 3, 2017 much to the excitement of their massive fan base worldwide. Everyone was waiting for a release date and then it became available for pre-order from January 30. Today, Blizzard has announced that "Battle for Azeroth" will arrive in a few months and the date is August 14.

As the Alliance and Horde prepares themselves for one of the biggest fight in their circle of hate, another short trailer for the latest World of Warcraft expansion is dropped.

Looks like early Warcraft games have been a great influence to the development of Battle for Azeroth. Alliance vs. Horde war takes a new height in this expansion and new quests added to the story are a well evidence for that. Players will explore new areas in the island of Kul Tiras for Alliance and Zandalar, belonging to Horde for resources. New Raid zones and 10 dungeons have made it to the expansion.

Warfronts is a 20-player multiplayer mode that brings back the flavor of classic Real-Time Strategy games. You will build forces and then lead attack on enemy objectives. Level cap can be increased to 120 for a character. There was an offer of a level 110 boost with Battle for Azeroth pre-order and many players jumped in for that. Plus, Alliance will get two new races; Lightforged Draenei and Void Elves, whereas Highmountain Tauren and Nightborne are for Horde.

According to Blizzard, there is a Battle for Azeroth Collector’s Edition, which is a physical copy of the game. There is a hardcover novella featuring the story of Alliance and Horde that led to the events of WoW: Battle for Azeroth. You will be able to finds out more about it but this novella that comes with Collector's edition is the only physical form for this tales. Plus, a digital soundtrack full of music from expansion, a collectible coin as well as few other goodies from Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch and StarCraft II franchise.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth already have the dedicated fans hyped enough that they literally broke the World of Warcraft servers while trying to pre-order the expansion. Standard Edition of Battle for Azeroth will cost you $49.99 and if you are going for Digital Deluxe Edition, then you have to spend $69.99 only. Price for Collector’s Edition is still undisclosed and some features from World of Warcraft: Legion will be brought back.
