MultiVersus Season 1 to Add Arcade Mode, Characters and Ranked Battle

Newly revealed content roadmap teases Arcade mode, new characters, cosmetics and ranked battle for MultiVersus Season 1.

MultiVersus Season 1 to Add Arcade Mode, Characters and Ranked Battle

With its upcoming Season 1 launch, free-to-play crossover platform fighting game MultiVersus by developer Player First Games and publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will see a full release across all available platforms.

Other than a few vague details regarding Season 1 Battle Pass, nothing more was confirmed by dev team yet. However, Player First Games decided to reveal partial Season 1content roadmap while teasing more surprises to come soon.

During ongoing EVO 2022 event, Player First Games showed off some content that are coming to Season 1. For starters, MultiVersus will be getting a classic Arcade mode as well as a Ranked mode to play competitive online PVP fights.

MultiVersus already announced to include new characters Morty Smith and Rick Sanchez from popular animated TV show Rick and Morty. Moreover, there will be many other Warner Bros.- owned characters that can also arrive soon.

Devs have also teased new cosmetic items like banners, icons and variants for most fighters in MultiVersus roster. Bugs Bunny will be receiving Valkyrie-esque costume and LeBron James to get a Robin, The Boy Wonder outfit variant.

MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass will reportedly have 50 tiers of content and costs around 950 Gleamium, which is worth $9.99. Early leak suggests, Marvin the Martian, Nubia and Raven are probably joining its expansive roster shortly.
