Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Out Now

Kart racing game Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled from Beenox and Activision is now available on Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.

An original PlayStation classic kart racing game from 1999 by developer Naughty Dog and publisher Sony Entertainment, Crash Team Racing Remastered releases today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

In an attempt to launch on modern-day gaming platforms, developer Beenox and publisher Activision has completely reworked the game from ground up titled as Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

CTR is back in all-new glory of HD makeover including 18 tracks with 13 additional ones to go crazy on road. Fan-favorite Adventure, Arcade, Battle and Time Trial modes are all back to keep its core experience intact for fans and newcomers.

Aside from Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco, a total of 15 playable characters are there and ready to race. Although some of them are immediately accessible at start, others will be unlocked once you play through Adventure Mode.

You can take part in both offline and online play or play co-op in four-player split screen system if you want to. Also playing online lets you earn Wumpa coins, in-game currency that allows you various customizations for your character or kart.

Whether it is cart bodies that you want replaced or to apply a new paint job, everything is on the table to mix and match. Also, appearance of your racers can be changed using cool N. Sane Trilogy skins and distinct victory animations.

Crash Team Racing Remastered Adventure Mode Revealed

Adventure mode for upcoming kart racing game Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has been revealed recently.

Announced back in December 2018, popular kart racing game Crash Team Racing is getting remastered by developer Beenox and publisher Activision to arrive on June 21, 2019, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Crash Bandicoot and his friends return for an exhilarating adventure to save the planet once again. Aside from adding customization features, developers are bringing its campaign mode to reintroduce as Adventure Mode in CTR: Nitro-Fueled.

Crash Team Racing Remastered Customization Revealed

Customization feature is coming to kart racing game Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled for carts and characters.

Seeing an impressive success upon releasing Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, a bundle of remastered games from Crash Bandicoot series in recent years, publisher Activision set their sight on Crash Team Racing as their next project.

Originally developed by Naughty Dog, the popular kart racing game is now titled Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled and being entirely reworked by Beenox, who are introducing cart and character customization in CTR for the first time.

Nitro-Fueled does not simply take you on different tracks for racing while aiding with power-ups and speed boosters but it will feature a variety of customization options for your carts and characters to add more personal touch.

You will be able to change cart bodies, apply paint jobs, add stickers and even alter wheels. Character skins from N. Sane Trilogy to customize appearances of your racers are also available as well as new victory animations.

Announced back at The Game Awards 2018, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is scheduled to release on June 21, 2019 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Though release on PC platform is not announced yet, we can only hope for it to come later sometime.

Mario Kart Tour Delayed to Summer 2019

Nintendo has delayed their upcoming mobile game Mario Kart Tour to summer 2019 in order to improve its quality.

Even Nintendo has finally given in to the irresistible charm of mobile gaming when they announced Mario Kart Tour for mobile devices and shifted focus developing new titles for the platform considering its ever growing market.

Without much details related to the game to discuss, we had a release window targeted for April 2019 back then and now, Nintendo has reportedly delayed the game and pushed back to summer 2019 until any further official notice.

After launching back in 1992 as a go-cart racing game featuring other Mario series characters, Super Mario Kart pioneered a sub-franchise on its own by generating 13 installments for arcade games, consoles and portable devices so far.

Longtime Mario fans and many other players were excited wondering to play their favorite games on smart phones but Nintendo had to pedal the brakes as they wanted to improve quality of the game and had to postpone from releasing on previous schedule.

The company wanted to take a huge step into the smart device business and originally planned to offer post-launch content as part of their continued service. They also have their priorities set straight about existing mobile titles that fans are already enjoying.

Current mobile titles like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, Fire Emblem Heroes and Pokémon GO have seen massive success upon release. When they dropped Super Mario Run for the platform, it was downloaded 40 million times within first four days.

Mario Kart is so popular to the fans that it is about to become a theme park ride at Universal Studios Japan and this delay can eventually turn out to be good for Mario Kart Tour as Nintendo has a history of making delayed game worth the wait.

Crash Team Racing Remastered Announced

Coming back in 2019 for its 20th anniversary, PlayStation Classic kart racer Crash Team Racing is getting remastered.

After seeing the immense success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Sony decided to bring more popular titles from the classic era and give them a remaster treatment. This time they picked popular kart racing game Crash Team Racing from 1999.

Originally developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Entertainment, the remastered version of the game is being reworked by Beenox and Activision following their successful previous endeavor and will release on 2019 as Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Breath of the Wild Free DLC

Nintendo added Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in a free DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Original kart racing game Mario Kart 8 was released back in 2014 for Wii U by Nintendo and it received an enhanced port for Nintendo Switch as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in 2017.

A free update is released today for the game, which adds a fan-favorite character Link; the protagonist from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, wearing his Champion’s Tunic. The iconic hero will be joining the race with various characters from Mario universe while sporting a new, polished look.
