What many have been pointing out upon launch of Wick's Bounty is that Fortnite always had a bearded character wearing suit, which pretty much akin to Mr. Wick and players even refer him to as "John Wick" since the beginning.

Epic Games probably wanted their own version of Baba Yaga back then and designed the real John Wick to be more serious-looking than his cartoonish and less cool counterpart to help people differentiate between them.

Minecraft Creator Notch Excluded from Anniversary Event by Microsoft

Microsoft is excluding Minecraft creator from 10 Year Anniversary events for his comments and opinions on social media.

Aside from being the creator of sandbox game Minecraft, Swedish game developer Markus "Notch" Persson is known to his fans for sharing various opinions on social media, which are considered very controversial by mainstream media.

Recently, decision of not including "Notch" in their upcoming 10-year anniversary celebrations is revealed by Microsoft, because they believe his public comments and opinions on Twitter are too toxic for being associated with their name.

This news came out only a short while after reference to Persson has been secretly wiped out from in-game loading screen. Neither Microsoft nor Mojang wants to side with him due to his controversial opinions, according to a spokesperson.

Microsoft has purchased ownership of its IP along with Mojang studio back in 2014 for $2.5 billion. Many claims that "Notch" has become unstable following this payout and constantly promotes his view on social and political issues on Twitter.

Whatever personal opinion Persson shares in an open space is entirely his own viewpoint and any company or person may not agree to that. However, Microsoft has decided to wipe his name off his own creation and not to invite him to its celebration in this case.

Debuted as an indie game back in 2009, Minecraft has gained popularity among gamers and now boasts an average of 91 million players per month. It is officially the second best-selling video game of all time right after Tetris.
