Death Stranding Introduces Troy Baker's Character

A brand-new video from Death Stranding shown at Tokyo Game Show 2018 presentation reveals Troy Baker's character in the game.

The last time we had a peak at the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive action game Death Stranding was at E3 2018 press conference, where we saw an ever expanding cast with some more details on the main character.

For long, there was no more update regarding development progress of the game and developer Kojima Productions has been working with their heads down until they got us something spectacular to show at the recent stage of Tokyo Game Show 2018.

Today, Kojima Productions have showcased a brand-new trailer titled "The Man in The Golden Mask" that introduces Troy Baker's character to the game.

Opening of the video shows Sam Porter Bridges headed for another of his deliveries with a human female on his back and we get our first-look at the character Troy Baker (Mortal Kombat X, Resident Evil 6) is playing who comes out of nowhere greeting the protagonist.

He wears a golden skull-mask and sports a look similar to Psycho Mantis-esque figure we saw in the teaser trailer. Their conversation suggests that these two have crossed paths before in the game and that definitely wasn't pleasant for the protagonist.

The mysterious antagonist then takes off his mask and hit the ground with it for some deathly spirits to appear around within a swirl of black goo at his feet and then hold the mask in the air above to conjure up a giant Hellhound-like beast wearing a golden mask.

While laughing, he warns that the beast looks hungry and the only way to make it out alive is to not getting eaten by it. Leaving Sam Porter to deal with it, he then disappears putting his mask back on, leaving the fate of this confrontation unknown.

Aside from already having a superstar cast on board, game director Hideo Kojima recruited Emily O'Brien (Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, League of Legends) and Troy Baker back in February for his most anticipating upcoming release.

Also, voice actor Tommie Earl Jenkins (Patriot Games, The Bourne Identity) have confirmed his involvement in the game and revealed the news seven months after being cast via a recent Tweet which includes an artwork of his character.

Initially film director and close friend Guillermo del Toro (Pan’s Labyrinth, The Shape of Water), actor Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) and Norman Reedus (The Boondock Saints, The Walking Dead) were cast by Kojima in various roles of the game.

French actress Léa Seydoux (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Spectre) and Lindsay Wagner (Bionic Woman, Six Million Dollar Man) also made short appearance in the E3 2018 gameplay trailer in their unspecified roles.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Gameplay and Boss Battle

Take a look at the extended gameplay and boss battle of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from Tokyo Game Show 2018.

From the very moment upcoming action-adventure game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is revealed on the E3 2018 press conference, both developer From Software and publisher Activision knew that they got everyone hooked.

Through previous video footage, we had brief glances at in-game moments from the game where the shinobi warrior displayed his feats and fighting abilities against enemy, we never really had some continued gameplay that would at least lead to something.

Keeping that in mind, creators of the game have offered a first look at extended gameplay that leads the protagonist to Corrupted Monk and engaged in a boss-battle, straight out of TGS 2018.

Courtesy of PlayStation Underground, the video focuses on a chapter from a journey for vengeance that the one-armed wolf has taken. It begins on a hilly area and Sekiro lands his first kill by stabbing an enemy on his throat that leads to a blood squirting.

He then jumps up from one location to another using his grappling hook before delivering a kill-shot to another enemy. Then came a mid-boss named Samurai General, who is strong, skilled and very patient to drop his blow in time.

The game actually rewards the player for being aggressive in a fight but you have to be tricky about dodging into enemy attacks to hit them rather than running away from them and perfecting that feat may take time for some.

After finishing a few more weak enemies he takes a stealthy road to another angry adversary who is waiting to be unhinged and refills his healing bar by checking to a Sculpture's Idol. This crazy brute goes down with more stabbing and flame attacks as he is weak to fire.

Next up on his list is to reach to a castle on the other side of the rock but due to the bridge being broken, he had to take sideways. A monstrous white snake comes out making mountains rumble and hiding into a nearby cave was the best option at the moment.

Sliding through a trapdoor, the shinobi reaches to another checkpoint before confronting the Corrupted Monk boss. She is a tough cookie and this is where the death and resurrection mechanics come to play, which you can see for yourself.

Scheduled to release on March 22, 2019, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will come out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-order for the game is already open now for both standard and collector's edition.

Although the game isn't as hard as hell like the Dark Souls series or turn out extremely punishing like Bloodborne but is surely doesn't shy away from some violent bloodbath either. In fact, it meshes so well with the gameplay mechanics that none of that will feel unnatural.

Resident Evil 2 Story Trailer

The elements of survival horror that made Resident Evil 2 a classic is retold in the new story trailer from TGS 2018.

From the very first reveal and gameplay demo at E3 2018 press conference to more gameplay footage and screenshots from Gamescom 2018, survival horror classic Resident Evil 2 Remake has been slowly spilling the beans to keep us on the edge of hype train seats.

Up until now, what we had been reworked pieces of the story premise that developer/publisher Capcom originally built on 1998. Tokyo Game Show presents new details for the remake in a brand-new clip featuring story of RE2.

What we are looking at is a re-imagined version of the plot for RE2 Remake in this story trailer below from TGS 2018.

Opening up from the scene where Claire finds little Sherry Birkin, asking about her parents and we see former researcher William Birkin turning into G-monster, gaining body mass with a giant eyeball on his shoulder and growling in pain of transformation.

Claire then goes to Raccoon City Police Department while investigating and met an injured officer Marvin Branagh, which probably takes place after the scene where he previously saved Leon by dropping a shutter on an impending zombie.

After momentary display of her gameplay inside RPD, the iconic scene of her first encounter with Leon Kennedy is shown, where he tells her to get down to shoot a zombie and then goes on with many nostalgic moments from the original game.

Their journey to RPD being interrupted and going separate ways are also shown. In short, the story trailer for RE2 Remake shows that Capcom surely put some solid effort for this project and did everything for the game to live up to the standard of 2018.

We see Leon learning of some underground lab while a zombie dog was approaching towards him from behind in a parking lot. He noticed it at the last moment due to the snarling noise it was making and is attacked before he could reach his gun.

However, the dog gets shot by someone and the mysterious Ada Wong reveals herself wearing a trench coat and fedora hat. He tags along with her afterwards thinking she knows something about the outbreak but she dismissed him saying that information's classified.

Meanwhile, Birkin's wife and Sherry's mother Annette sees her husband in security footage, going through rapid changes after his exposure to G-virus and slaying a military team into the sewers in his hulking form.

Next, there are a series of cut scenes where Leon meets G-monster, Claire talking to chief Irons, zombies swarming the streets, an encounter between Ada and Annette for the possession of G-virus samples, a rampaging Birkin and cuts to end with Ada and Leon into the sewer; home of the mutant Alligator.

Up until now, we were already introduced to mysterious Ada Wong, RPD police chief Brian Irons, college student Claire Redfield, rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy, police officer Marvin Branagh, young Sherry Birkin and a heavily G-virus mutated former Umbrella scientist William Birkin so far.

We also had a momentary glimpse of a Tyrant monster of T-103 model, commonly known as Mr. X on the E3 trailer. The debut of Annette Birkin and the zombie dog reminds us that we are waiting for HUNK and Robert Kendo next.

There was a "zapping system" in Resident Evil 2 for an "A" story and a "B" story, which the remake is completely scrapping down. This classic is revived with Capcom's revolutionary RE Engine to render each character with photo-realism. Not long ago, we expected a trailer to drop that will showcase more of Ada Wong and here it is.

What we want now is another one with special agent HUNK of the Umbrella Security Service leading his Alpha Team into the G-virus sample retrieving mission from Dr. Birkin and hopefully we will get that ahead of release.

Devil May Cry 5 TGS Trailer

The new DMC5 trailer from Tokyo Game Show 2018 brings back the legendary demon hunter in his iconic style.

The newest release from developer/publisher Capcom's celebrated Devil May Cry franchise and upcoming action-adventure hack and slash game Devil May Cry 5 was revealed to the world during the E3 2018 press conference.

We saw a new trailer at Gamescom 2018 that showcased pivotal gameplay footage and announced March 8, 2019 to be the release date for it to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Today at Tokyo Game Show 2018, another trailer dropped with new details.

The newly released TGS 2018 trailer for DMC5 heavily focuses on series protagonist Dante and captures his characteristic devil may care attitude.

Although Dante was featured in previous videos of DMC5, he was mostly overshadowed by Nero. However, the paranomal investigator is back again as he has taken a new job that requires his unique skill of hacking and slashing demon hordes.

His regular arsenal of weapons including the sword Rebellion with and handgun pair Ebony and Ivory gets a new companion; a stylish motorcycle that he either rides into battle or splits into two to slash through a mob of evil spirits if he needs to.

In the last trailer, we got a few scenes of action where we witnessed the destructive capabilities of Nero’s "Devil Breakers" prosthetic arm which will spice up the fun for combat. There are apparently eight of these weapons and a recent addition of them is a Mega Man-inspired Mega Buster.

This brand-new weapon inspired by Capcom's fan-favorite blue bomber and comes with the Deluxe Edition of DMC5. This version will also include 4 exclusive Devil Breakers, 12 classic battle themes, Dante's upgraded motorcycle weapon for and more.

We suggest you to take a look at the new stylish weapon Nero wields against his enemies in the gameplay video below.

At one point of the clip, Dante's old business associates Lady and Trish showed up to haul him back into the fight. Also, the game hinted of introducing three vigilante devil hunters and we get to meet "V", the newest playable character after the main leads.

Nero's engineer friend Nico then gets to meet Dante and introduces herself as the granddaughter of Nell Goldstein as he looks at her for a moment. His special power of Devil Trigger transformation is displayed during the gameplay as well.

We have no details on the new character "V" yet despite his short presence time in the video but hopefully, Capcom will officially release more info on him before the game finally releases on March 8 of 2019.

Apparently, Devil May Cry 5 is building a bridge between generations of characters by bringing them all together to fight for same cause and that's just great. Nero was doing pretty well on his own but then probably something went out of control and he had to call his uncle to lend a hand.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice TGS Trailer

New Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice trailer showcases brutal aerial combat and gameplay before Tokyo Game Show 2018.

First developer From Software made people believe that they are working on a new Dark Souls project, then before they unveiled their upcoming action-adventure game Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice at E3 2018 press conference, some even predicted of a sequel for Bloodborne.

Tokyo Game Show is still not here yet but ahead of more than a week; a new trailer for the game is dropped today, which is mostly focused on gameplay while an ongoing narration is going on in the background.

Below is the brand-new TGS trailer of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice released earlier by From Software and Activision.

RELATED: Dark Souls Trilogy Announced for PS4 and Xbox One

The clip opens up with a village engulfed in flame while it is raining at night and nearby, we see the bloodied, fallen body of the hero and then we are quickly taken to the action-packed segment for more gore moments.

Combat system of the game remains the main focal point of the full video and it only reflects on how quick and deadly the shinobi protagonist actually is. How he cunningly employs stealth when needed and shots his grappling hook for movement is a true spectacle.

RELATED: PlayStation Now Adds Bloodborne and More

He doesn't hesitate to mercilessly cut through his enemies like dogs and each of his blows draw rush of blood you have seen before in Kill Bill movie. It also appears that the sword he wields has some magic within it as some of his enemies are seen turning into red cloudy dust upon being hit by it.

Then again, his samurai opponents from the Ashina clan are quite formidable if you look at their appearance or powers at their disposal and have some intimidating boss characters as well.

Although it was near impossible to understand any meaning to those background recitations in Japanese without any subtitles, the shinobi made his intentions quite obvious with his deeds. Currently, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is scheduled to launch on 22 March, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Since we already got trailer ahead of TGS 2018, chances are we will witness more of the ninja warrior in impressive gameplay footage or perhaps a new story trailer may get released.
