The last time we had a peak at the upcoming PlayStation 4-exclusive action game Death Stranding was at E3 2018 press conference, where we saw an ever expanding cast with some more details on the main character.

For long, there was no more update regarding development progress of the game and developer Kojima Productions has been working with their heads down until they got us something spectacular to show at the recent stage of Tokyo Game Show 2018.

Opening of the video shows Sam Porter Bridges headed for another of his deliveries with a human female on his back and we get our first-look at the character Troy Baker (Mortal Kombat X, Resident Evil 6) is playing who comes out of nowhere greeting the protagonist.

He wears a golden skull-mask and sports a look similar to Psycho Mantis-esque figure we saw in the teaser trailer. Their conversation suggests that these two have crossed paths before in the game and that definitely wasn't pleasant for the protagonist.

The mysterious antagonist then takes off his mask and hit the ground with it for some deathly spirits to appear around within a swirl of black goo at his feet and then hold the mask in the air above to conjure up a giant Hellhound-like beast wearing a golden mask.

While laughing, he warns that the beast looks hungry and the only way to make it out alive is to not getting eaten by it. Leaving Sam Porter to deal with it, he then disappears putting his mask back on, leaving the fate of this confrontation unknown.
