Robotics;Notes Elite Western Release Announced

Anime Expo 2019 came bearing news of Robotics;Notes Elite getting 2020 a Western release from Spike Chunsoft.

Although Japanese publisher Spike Chunsoft has already released Robotics;Notes Elite visual novel for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in January, there was a public appeal of a localized version for English-speaking audiences.

Apparently, a petition on Change.org made by 3,602 supporting fans to translate the VN experience is now officially successful as R;N Elite is getting released in North America and Europe in 2020 for PC via Steam, PS4 and Switch.

Spike Chunsoft dropped an official trailer to announce Western release for R;N today at Anime Expo 2019.

Robotics;Notes has debuted back in 2012 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles as third main entry that belonged to Science Adventure series of science fiction visual novels like Chaos;Head and Steins;Gate from developer 5pb.

R;N Elite revolves around protagonist Kaito Yashio, who is from Tanegashima island and a member of Robot Research Club. Club leader Akiho Senomiya is determined to save their club from being shut down by creating a giant robot.

Robotics;Notes Elite will have Kaito explore areas to unlock secrets of "Kimijima Report" using PhoneDroid. It also features branching storyline that leads player to multiple endings depending on choices made throughout the VN.

On their second attending of Anime Expo this year, Spike Chunsoft also confirmed Robotics;Notes DaSH, another upcoming 5pb project selected for Western localization, which also happens to be a sequel to R;N Elite.
