Far Cry 3 Villain May Return To Series

Iconic villain Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3 may return to series very soon, suggested by voice actor Michael Mando.

After having a bunch of anticipated AAA-titles delayed last year, developer/publisher Ubisoft has reportedly confirmed launching five new games within April 2020 and March 2021, including Assassin's Creed Ragnarok and Far Cry 6.

Recently, Canadian actor Michael Mando (Better Call Saul, Spider-Man: Homecoming) attended an AMA session on Reddit and has suggested fans that he might just reprise his prior role of Far Cry 3 antagonist Vaas Montenegro very soon.

Mando is currently busy portraying Nacho Varga of Salamanca crime family in Breaking Bad prequel spin-off series Better Call Saul for AMC. He has expressed to crowd that Vaas is like his spirit animal and loved voicing for him in FC3.

Mando has co-created Vaas and is commonly gets recognized by fans as insane pirate lord of Rook Islands. Reddit has also responded him back saying Far Cry 3 as one of their most favorite and one of the best games in entire series.

In response to a fan, Michael Mando hinted at a potential comeback to Far Cry franchise at some point.

Though he participated in Ask-Me-Anything session to talk about recently aired season finale of popular AMC television series, his followers were more interested to know about a possible return of his most iconic character from Far Cry 3.

For long, Ubisoft employees have been very coy about Vaas's survival and they never outright confirmed if he really died till date. This apparent vagueness of his final fate actually leave chances of bringing him back in a sequel game.

Despite being a negative character, Vaas Montenegro has a huge fan-following and although considered as most popular game in Far Cry first-person shooter series, Far Cry 3 was outsold by Far Cry 5, breaking franchise sales record.

With industry renowned video game journalist Jason Schreier supporting rumors of Far Cry 6, there are chances for Vaas to show up in a cameo appearance to remind us the definition of insanity or to rekindle connection to past events.
