Batman: Court of Owls Game Rumored to Be Arkham Series Reboot

Recent leak suggests upcoming Batman: Court of the Owls game might be a reboot of Arkham series.

After rumor mill for a brand-new Batman game running for a while, developer WB Games Montréal eventually starts teasing of an announcement on occasion of 80th anniversary of The Dark Knight and on annual Batman Day 2019.

Most recent among all rumors are a leak from industry insider known as Sabi on Twitter, who claims that upcoming action-adventure seems to be a reboot of Arkham series, which still is largely focused on Batman: Court of the Owls saga.

Given how Batman: Arkham Knight was ended in 2015, it makes sense for WB to go for a series reboot. Also, reusing its gameplay elements and flight controls only makes sense because it was so well-received by fans and critics alike.

Sabi has previously reported on some accurate news from Breath of the Wild 2, E3 and a few other Nintendo series. However, these claims should always be taken with a grain of salt until they are confirmed from an official source.

Sabi claims news of Arkham series reboot and some of recently leaked information are in fact accurate.

Court of the Owls is most popular among modern-day portrayal of The Dark Knight that also features an extended Bat-Family. Besides, it was first storyline that re-established the legacy of Batman in rebooted timeline of The New 52.

Despite many leaks from unofficial sources are revealing new and interesting details on gameplay and plot premise every other week, WB Games Montréal has yet to confirm a final title, story, release date and available platforms.

Developers having their lips tightly sealed about it have only allowed these reports to run rampant. Then renowned DC Comics writer Scott Snyder (Death of the Family, Night of the Owls) added fuel to that with a cryptic Tweet last year.

Batman: Court of the Owls game is currently in development by WB Games Montréal to release for next-gen consoles and is likely to make an official reveal in next episode of Sony's State of Play presentation or during E3 2020 event.

Far Cry 6 Rumored to Release in March 2021

Latest leak reveals that Far Cry 6 is currently in works and Ubisoft is planning to release it before March 2021.

In a recent report, developer/publisher Ubisoft has confirmed working on five AAA-games right now including Gods and Monsters, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Watch Dogs: Legion that they will launch from April 2020 and March 2021.

Although dev team has refrained from revealing the other two games, they stated that those two games are from their "biggest franchises". One of them seems to be rumored Assassin's Creed Ragnarok and another one is Far Cry 6.

Known to be one of the most reliable sources among industry, Jason Schreier of Kotaku broke this news lately. Although he didn't go into details of upcoming Far Cry game but claims that Ubisoft will release it before March 2021.

Twitter user Shinobi602 originally shared this news from earnings call meeting where Schreier added more details. If his leaks are correct then players can expect an official reveal at E3 2020 press event as well as new Assassin's Creed game.

Schreier shared original Tweet from Shinobi602 with his take on two unrevealed titles being AC and Far Cry.

Last year, there was a rumor of a multiplayer-focused Far Cry game being in development under Ubisoft Berlin. It is possible for that previous report to be actually true and Schreier is simply referring to that game if not FC6.

Some other sources claimed that next mainline Far Cry game is in-works at two different studios, Ubisoft Toronto and Ubisoft Refelctions. Any of this info is not confirmed yet and there is no official information on next Far Cry game.

Though some are speculating for a Splinter Cell game instead if FC6 alongside new AC title, Schreier has a reputation of not being wrong so often and there is no reason for him to making such claims if they were not from trusted sources.

Series fans would love to see where Ubisoft is heading over to for next installment of their first-person shooter game series in Far Cry 6. May be they would choose an open-world location set around some uncharted islands once again!

Breath of the Wild Sequel Title and Gameplay Details Leaked

Recent leak at 4chan board claims that upcoming Breath of the Wild sequel is titled "Bond of the Triforce".

It was a huge shocker to many fans for developer/publisher Nintendo coming out announcing a sequel to acclaimed 2017 action-adventure game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 2019.

Since then, not much have been out there that players know about but most recently, a new leak from image-based online bulletin board 4chan may have revealed a title for the game along with some exciting gameplay details.

Original forum post for alleged leak has now been deleted that initially claimed that title for upcoming Breath of the Wild 2 is going to be "The Legend of Zelda: Bond of the Triforce" and it will be confirmed in a new trailer very soon.

A new feature will allow you to switch between Link and Zelda when they are in dungeons. Link is only playable character and Zelda can only assist him with her latest ability to change weather as she has harnessed the power of nature.

Same leak has also stated that animals are to have bigger roles in Bond of the Triforce and players will be able to ride a bear. Moreover, new enemies and items will make debut, aside from a magic gauge, likely to be for Zelda.

Slingshot will return and one of those new items is supposedly be a plow-looking weapon to deal with large group of enemies at once. This "leaker" can be making things up or could have legit inside information but there is no way to confirm that.

Since it has been sources from 4chan, people will be well advised to take this news with a considerable amount of salt. Then again, there has been many examples of authentic Nintendo game leaks in past on same site as well.

A new rumor has hinted of a Nintendo Direct video earlier and it may reveal a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Bond of the Triforce after all. Or players can just look up to find out more of BoTW sequel game later this year at E3 2020.
