After rumor mill for a brand-new Batman game running for a while, developer WB Games Montréal eventually starts teasing of an announcement on occasion of 80th anniversary of The Dark Knight and on annual Batman Day 2019.

Given how Batman: Arkham Knight was ended in 2015, it makes sense for WB to go for a series reboot. Also, reusing its gameplay elements and flight controls only makes sense because it was so well-received by fans and critics alike.

Sabi has previously reported on some accurate news from Breath of the Wild 2, E3 and a few other Nintendo series. However, these claims should always be taken with a grain of salt until they are confirmed from an official source.

Court of the Owls is most popular among modern-day portrayal of The Dark Knight that also features an extended Bat-Family. Besides, it was first storyline that re-established the legacy of Batman in rebooted timeline of The New 52.

Despite many leaks from unofficial sources are revealing new and interesting details on gameplay and plot premise every other week, WB Games Montréal has yet to confirm a final title, story, release date and available platforms.

Developers having their lips tightly sealed about it have only allowed these reports to run rampant. Then renowned DC Comics writer Scott Snyder (Death of the Family, Night of the Owls) added fuel to that with a cryptic Tweet last year.

Batman: Court of the Owls game is currently in development by WB Games Montréal to release for next-gen consoles and is likely to make an official reveal in next episode of Sony's State of Play presentation or during E3 2020 event.
