Vigor Comes to Xbox Live Gold Free Play Days

Free Play Days event on Xbox Live Gold offers free-to-play loot shooter game Vigor for free to their members.

Back in July 2019, developer/publisher Bohemia Interactive rolled out Update 0.9: Aid for their free-to-play loot shooter survival game Vigor on Xbox One console, which is currently available through Xbox Game Preview program.

Today, members of Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate online services can take part in action for free on Free Play Days event that will begin on August 8, 12:01 AM PDT and will run until August 11, 11:59 PM PDT.

Now that the game just received a major content update, this is a better time than any to start building in a post-war Norway. Newest update has improved experience for gunplay and movement with dozens of more changes.

Also added are achievements, customizations, daily challenges, spectator mode, weapons skins and an in-game lobby. Don't forget to work on your Outlander savior rank by donating food to Charity Box for those who are less fortunate.

When your time in Free Weekend is finally up, you can purchase Founder's Pack and continue playing. It will grant you advantage on progression, crates, extra rewards and all Crowns currency that you have bought previously.

Vigor is coming to see full-release on summer 2019 for Xbox One platform and is enhanced for Xbox One X as well. Those who wish to test out their hands on the title can get started with a two hour-long free trail anytime.

Hunt: Showdown Leaving Early Access

Spending more than a year in Early Access program, Hunt: Showdown gets full release for PC and Xbox One in August 2019.

After spending slightly more than a year on Early Access program of Steam and a few months on Xbox Game Preview, survival horror first-person shooter Hunt: Showdown is finally seeing full release on August 20, 2019 for PC and Xbox One.

By fall 2019, developer/publisher Crytek is also planning on launching this bounty hunting multiplayer shooter on PlayStation 4. Koch Media is partnering up with them for worldwide distribution of physical edition aside from digital release.

Back in February 2018, competitive bounty hunting title Hunt entered Early Access phase on Steam and May 2019 on Game Preview for Xbox consoles, which helped developer team to receive community feedback and work on features.

During this period, Crytek has deployed a series of patches and updates to improve player experience. According to their development roadmap, a new boss, new map, dozens of weapons and Quick Play were added into it.

Though the game is currently priced $15.50 on Steam and $29.99 on Game Preview, it will be priced $39.99 upon release. Early backers will receive an exclusive legendary weapon skin at full launch for participating in an unfinished state.

Hunt: Showdown is an online multiplayer game integrating both PvP and PvE elements into a match-based gameplay setting where players compete to take down a supernatural boss as a Hunter character for high-end rewards.

Vigor Update 0.9: Aid Comes to Xbox One

Update 0.9: Aid is coming to upcoming free-to-play loot shooter survival game Vigor in July for Xbox One.

Currently looking forward to a summer 2019 release window, developer/publisher Bohemia Interactive has been working on improving experience for their upcoming free-to-play loot shooter game Vigor on Xbox One platform.

Available via Xbox Game Preview program, developers are planning to drop one last major content update before launch. Bohemia will be rolling out Update 0.9: Aid in this July and offers an early closer look at what's coming.

Developers are keeping tabs on community feedback and responding to reports of unsteady shooting, they improved its gunplay. Now that it has been patched, you should be having more fun with your weapons at hand and rely on them more.

Some animations and interactions are also reworked as to go with more weapons configuration for a better experience. Lately, a new feature called Random Duos was added to this survival game for finding out fellow Outlanders to partner up.

Update 0.9 is aiming to introduce a spectator mode to let you run over what went wrong once you are killed. Back when people used to play Vigor in early phase, they had no leads on what to do but now, there will be a new tutorial to offer help.

Player complaints about in-game currency Crowns are taken into account and soon they would likely to get customization items. Finally, there would be Outlander's shop in-game to acquire backpack, headgear, uniforms and much more.

When the title sees a full free-to-play release this summer, Founders will get advantage over newcomers in terms of progression. As extra rewards, they will receive all previously purchased Crowns, various crates depending on their current levels and Founder's shirt.

Update 0.9 is surely packing biggest changes that will make your survival in a post-war Norway more intense than ever. Courtesy of Xbox Game Preview, player can have a two hour-long free trail of Vigor on Xbox One and it is enhanced for Xbox One X as well.

Hunt: Showdown Out On Xbox Game Preview

First-person bounty hunting shooter Hunt: Showdown from Crytek is now available on Xbox Game Preview.

In past, developer/publisher Crytek has worked on some great games like Crysis and Ryse: Son of Rome. In recent years, they are focusing development of gothic action horror Hunt: Showdown, which is finally out now on Xbox Game Preview.

Picking key-elements of survival horror genre and blend them into match-styled shooter title for an intense atmosphere, Hunt offers exciting experience of a situation where enemies and players threatens your character all the same.

Crytek has built up a dark setting for competitive online multiplayer gameplay of up to 10 players. Bounty hunters will be going after and slaying monstrous creatures lurking within Louisiana swamps only to be rewarded in gold.

Play solo or go duo to seek out your precious bounty using important clues spread across the in-game map while also keep your eyes open for swarms of enemies wandering around as well as fellow Hunters to get out alive with claimed prize.

Only one can come out victorious (or two in case of teams) by surviving all odds chasing your tail to get a piece. Then rise up stakes of PvP experience by getting into Quick Play mode to compete in a 10 solo players face off with a clock ticking.

There is a huge emphasis on audio as not only it warns you in advance of enemies and bosses arrival but also gives away location of other players. However, death of your character is unfortunately permanent in each type of matches.

Despite Microsoft promising of the game being Xbox One X enhanced back at E3 2018, it still doesn't have that feature yet. Given its work in progress nature, it could probably be in development to be added later at some point.

So far, Crytek has been following a community-driven development process for their first-person horror shooter Hunt: Showdown and Xbox Game Preview program will surely help them get more feedback to further polish the game over time.

Hunt: Showdown Coming to Xbox Game Preview

FPS bounty hunting game Hunt: Showdown from Crytek is coming to Xbox Game Preview on spring 2019.

After going through much trouble, survival horror first-person shooter Hunt: Showdown from developer/publisher Crytek has managed to see launch in Early Access of Steam on February 22, 2018 and received mostly positive remarks.

Making good on their previous announcement made back it Gamescom 2018, the studio is bringing the FPS game to Xbox Game Preview program in association with Microsoft Studios, for Xbox One players on spring 2019.

Crytek has been keeping up with a community-driven development cycle so far and Xbox early access will allow them to go further on same track. Based on received community feedback, they have added new equipment, features and settings to it.

When you are in a match, every moment is a high-risk situation that only leads to high-rewards. However, whenever you die in-game, your Hunter character is gone for good and so are all the gears they were packing.
