Latest Nintendo Direct video stream wraps up remaining Nintendo Switch announcements for 2019 and some future titles.

Announced only a little while ago, a brand-new Nintendo Direct presentation was scheduled for today, on September 4, 2019 and it came out with news for loads of new releases and upcoming updates that fans were looking for.

Aside from their scheduled title launches in 2019 for Nintendo Switch consoles, some future games were teased. Nintendo's own official Twitch, Twitter and YouTube channels have broadcasted this video at 3:00 PM PT/6:00 PM ET.

Overwatch Legendary Edition | Nintendo Switch




For a week or so, there was rumor of team-based online shooter Overwatch to come to Switch. Today, we got an official confirmation for one of most popular title of Blizzard Entertainment is finally heading to Nintendo's handheld console.

This multiple "Game of the Year" award-winner title will become available for Switch on October 15. Currently boasting a roster of 31 characters, players will have console specific control options and limited time Widowmaker skin.

Little Town Hero | Nintendo Switch
Upcoming turn-based role-playing game Little Town Hero from developer Game Freak will be hitting Nintendo Switch on October 16. Its story is set around a town that people living in it can never leave and will be protected by a castle.

Players control a young boy named Axe, who took it upon himself to save his town when it is attacked by monstrous threats. Fellow citizens can of course lend a helping hand in your fights but you will have to find them to get support.

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition | Nintendo Switch




A much-requested HD port for 2012 acclaimed action RPG title Xenoblade Chronicles from developer Monolith Soft has been greenlit after long and its making its way to Switch console at some point next year, presumably with new features.

This high-definition remaster port is set to explore adventures of young hero Shulk and his friends fighting against race of mechanical invaders known as Mechon to exact revenge for destroying their home with aid of Monado blade.

Biggest take away from this video presentation was Overwatch getting a Switch port next month, revelation of newest Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighter and new addition of more games from Assassin's Creed series coming soon.

Nintendo Direct ended up announcing tons of new titles upon us that will be coming out throughout the rest of this year on Nintendo Switch and until 2020 to keep us busy playing while they will make some more games for next time.
