Breath of the Wild Sequel Gameplay Details and Title Reportedly Leaked

It was a huge shocker for many fans when developer/publisher Nintendo came out announcing a sequel to acclaimed 2017 action-adventure game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild during Nintendo Direct showcase at E3 2019 event.

Although not much have been out there for players to know about but most recently, a leak on image-based online bulletin board 4chan may have revealed an official title for BotW 2 along with a number of exciting gameplay details.

Original forum post on alleged leak has since been deleted that initially claimed that a title for upcoming Breath of the Wild 2 is going to be "The Legend of Zelda: Bond of the Triforce" and it will be confirmed via a new trailer very soon.

There will be a new feature that allows you to switch between Link and Zelda when they are in dungeons. Link will be only playable character and Zelda can only assist him with her ability to change weather that she has harnessed lately.

It also mentions that animals will have bigger roles in "Bond of the Triforce" and players will be even able to ride on a bear. Moreover, new enemies and items will be introduced, as well as a magic gauge, which is probably there for Zelda.

Slingshot will return and a new item is supposedly be a plow-looking weapon to deal with large group of enemies at once. This alleged "leaker" may be making things up or have legit insider information but there is no way to confirm it.

Since this was originally posted on 4chan, people will be well-advised to take this news with a grain of salt until further announcement. Then again, there are numerous examples of accurate Nintendo leaks that came out of 4chan as well.

A latest rumor has hinted of a Nintendo Direct video earlier and it may reveal a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Bond of the Triforce after all. Or players can just look up to find out more on BoTW sequel later during E3 2020 showcase.
