In last few months, there has been multiple rumor regarding a sequel to 2019 action-adventure game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by developer Respawn Entertainment were sprawling across the web regarding its darker tone and launch.

Expected to be revealed later this week during Star Wars Celebration event between May 26 to 29, Respawn releases a teaser trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor as a follow-up sequel to Fallen Order that is currently set to launch next year.

EA and Respawn reveals a new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor teaser trailer, confirming a new subtitle for sequel.

Jedi: Survivor marks the return of protagonist Cal Kestis and his companion BD-1 five years after the events of Jedi: Fallen Order. He seeks to grow his connection with the Force and learn some new abilities as one of the last remaining Jedi.

Even after barely surviving an encounter against powerful Sith Lord Darth Vader, he is still being pursued by The Empire. Previously teased character Grand Inquisitor makes an appearance and reflects on Cal's motives to build a Resistance.

Fallen Order game director Stig Asmussen reveals that they always had a vision for a sequel and where Cal would go next. Respawn is working with Lucasfilm Games to build up legacy of Fallen Order with improved combat and storytelling.

Cal seemingly loses his lightsaber in a fight against a presumed Sith figure, who could be former Jedi Knight Revan from 2003 role-playing game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic or it may be a new character by Lucasfilm and Respawn.

Throughout entire Jedi: Survivor teaser trailer, a white-haired mysterious figure was seen inside a bacta tank that Cal eventually found. It could be another new character that Respawn created as a second playable lead, according to rumor.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is currently set to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S next year but there is no launch date yet. Insiders suggested earlier that Respawn is dropping "Fallen Order" subtitle and picked Survivor for sequel.
